That cross from Kerkez was so amateur. How a professional football can't cushion that cross is beyond me.

Damage was done last season with the horrendous window, spending 500M. Players we bought then realistically should be worth roughly 150M combined if were being generous.

Nail on head.

After everything Klopp built and won, we did a carbon copy of what the club did in the early 1990s and spent a king’s ransom on a load of average dross.

We look shocking here. I feel sorry for Iraola.. he's inherited a load of *****, and they've not got him in the players he needs. This is last seasons team all over again.

It was a disaster of a transfer window, we didn't get a single player right. Like I said many times, although Slot had many faults, the main reason we're here is because of the likes of Richard Hughes and Michael Edwards.

Good work by Munoz to win that pen and very nicely taken by Szoboszlai, couldn't have been easy with such pressure. Probably didn't deserve anything from this game but we get a point at least.

Munoz looked alright when he came on.

Deserved penalty, but not sure we deserved a point from that.

Munoz deserves to start.. he was direct and positive in most things he did. We need to get the Barcola deal over the line, we need pace of the wings. And we need a ball winner in the midfield.

Not great but at least we didnt start with an L. We are still far too open on the break, to lose 2 goals like that is basically criminal, until we can sort it out players need to start taking yellows and stopping them at source.

Dont have to take a yellow of you actually tackle. And nobody did, not for their second. Simply stood off both attackers waiting for someone else to take responsibility.

Still don't see the hype about Rio. Thought he was one of many who were awful today. Kerkez, Frimpong, Gravenberch, Wirtz, Isak... They just don't look good enough to me.

Knowing we cant tackle a sausage dinner though mate once we lose the ball at the edge of their box someone needs to rugby tackle one of their players

Gravenberch is too laid back. He has all the attributes apart from the most important one which is to fight. Wirtz looks lightweight, but everytime he gets the ball in good areas no ones showing for the ball or making runs. Kerkez and Frimpong are so far off the level they need to be at. Isak looks like he cant be bothered. I'd play Araújo RB, get a CM in who can win the ball, buy Barcola and play a front 3 of Munoz/Gakpo/Barcola until Isak pulls his finger out.

I actually think Wirtz was doing well today. Lightweight yes, but he was very good in passing between the lines during our build-up play. Grav is decent in that too, despite having a couple of brain-dead moments today that cost us the game.

i like the way Gravenberch rolls players and runs with the ball [its a  weapon we should make more use of] but he's not a DM, we need someone who sits, wins tackles and marks space, whenever Grav drives up the pitch he's vacating the space in front of the back 4, i'd play him as an 8 and buy a proper DM.
