Everybody strapped in for tonights' game ?  :buttrock

As things stand we should get through but I'm feeling uneasy about this.

Blooming eck Woof if there is one thing we can do it is score goals and if we score one they will need to score three. Relax mate we will be ok.

Came to say the exact same thing.

Dunno why I feel uneasy. Let's just get the job done and look forward to the draw. Any result that takes us through and I'm happy.

Think we win but at the same time will have to work hard for it.
It appears that Emre has the same stomach bug as Phil and he has to stay away from the rest of the squad so won't be available.  :lookaround
Win tonight and hopefully we will then see some action in the transfer market.

Hoffenheim are a decent enough team but there best chance of progressing has gone. Regularity 2-0 win for us, maybe even by a bigger margin if we score early and they just go for it.

Good that Can is out. Stick Grujic in.

You've cheered me up mate, maybe I worry too much  :D

BUT

Heard the Hoffenheim manager when asked about how no German team has ever won at Anfield, his response was (sic) " it's a record, but records are there to be broken "

Don't want to put the mockers on it but it worried me.

An early goal for us and I'll relax, an early goal for Hoffenheim and it's gonna be a long night   :wwww

Play Firmino behind Sturridge and stick Mane And Salah down the flank ahead of Henderson and Wijnaldum. TAA & Robertson at fullback with Lovren and Matip at CB. Do it Jurgen.

If we somehow fail to qualify tonight.. then I want Klopp to hand in his resignation and for FSG to sell the club. That's how serious the game tonight is from a fans perspective.

I would go with your team or put Gruijic in the middle with Gigi and Hendo, if I see Hendo, Can and Gini in the same midfield again im going to scream! they are unbelievably ***** trio when playing together.

Do you mean playing Firmino a bit deeper mate in the Coutinho role? That way we could add a bit more creativity to the midfield and shoehorn Sturridge into the team at the same time. Bobby works his @rse off so he could easily drop into the midfield imo. Something like this -

                                                   Mingolet

          TAA.                      Matip.                     Lovren.              Robertson

                                      Hendo.                     Wijnaldum

                                                   Firmino

                        Salah.                                              Mane

                                                 Sturridge

Hendo and Wijnaldum are both bang out of form but with no Can though it could be a bit of a risk throwing someone like Grujic in in such a big game, especially when we don't need to chase it.
