His shot on Saturday was worthy of goal and tell me what player hasn't missed a sitter? Lionel Messi has missed sitters in his time. Cut the lad some slack and be patient with him.

I disagree I think he has the potential to be as good as Stevie G, he just needs more time and to settle into the more. I would prefer to see him start games instead of Stevie.

I think he offers more drive, determination and tempo than Steven does and

Thats a bit much.
I rate Shelvey, I see potential to be great but Gerrard despite the fact is clearly isn't as influential as before is still a guaranteed starter for me.

i`ve been dissappointed in sahin, i thought he`d be much more influential than he has been.
he`s obviously a good player who`s comfortable on the ball but he`s really struggling to come to terms with the pace and physicality of the prem.
against teams that play with a high tempo or teams that like to get stuck in he`s practically anonymous.
his loan deal wasnt cheap either, by some accounts we are paying £5m/£6m just to have him here for one season, benitez actually bought (as opposed to loaned) the likes of lucas, reina and agger for similar amounts of money.
hopefully he will come good in the second half of the season.
