If we can get a win tonight we then have a few more winnable games in December and then the January transfer window will give us a chance to strengthen the squad.

Am I crazy for thinking Top 4 is still game on?

No mate your not. Its still a possibility and we shouldn't lose the focus on it until its mathematically not possible. We're on a 8 game unbeaten run, win tonight and keep this run going until January then strengthen the weak areas and we go from there.

It's do-able and its all in our own hands.

I'd say that if we were to get into the top four this season, then we will have overachieved in all honesty. It's still mathematically possible, but I doubt we can accomplish it this season. However we must get a result here tonight, irrespective of whether or not we can achieve a top four place this season - I just want to take one game at a time and see where we end up at the season. I do want us to get a result against Spurs tonight, three points please and let's ramp up the pressure cooker on both them and Arsenal and let's home in on Everton.

I don't know a manager in the game atm who has gotten as much of a pass as BR...
Floyd stepped left and threw the hook that caught Hatton flush under the chin. Finally, the British champ had arrived in that mythical place of which his fans speak: Hatton Wonderland.

Well if we lose to spurs he has had a worse start than roy. And he was playing paul koncrappy and a broken down 40 year old dane.

4 points off relegation and I don't even blame Rodgers for the most part.:

That's because there isn't another club with as much class as Liverpool. Simple really.

Rafa got the chance in his first season despite a very poor start, way before we got to the knockout stages of the CL. The proper supporters give Rodgers the same time.

I think only retards would call for Rodgers to be sacked right now....but.....we are in a habit of losing (or at least not winning) and that's not a good situation to be in. all this waffle about "we're getting better....it will come good...." is wearing or has already worn thin.
we know Rome wasn't built in a day, but WTF is the idea behind Henderson at RB ? or Downing, full-stop ?
we don't have players with the skill level to play Rodgers' dream football.....we don't have the players to put the ball in the back of the bleedin' net, FFS !
tonight there was a call for lamping Spudz players out of it in every tackle 'cos they can't handle it. not that i'm suggesting we pick up yellow cards for the craic, but if you get in on top of the opposition you force the play......right now, we play with no bloody cojones and it's painful....

I dont know about the cajones statement?
We are playing well and not being battered by teams. In fact we are the ones dominating but not scoring as much as we should.
This is what is costing us, not cowardice

I concur. Bunglemark2 probably didn't watch the match, hell he made a post about Being: Liverpool a couple of months after it had first aired.

You're wrong there, sh1t for brains. I did watch the match, as it happens.
But you're correct about the Being Liverpool series : I did say at the time I hardly watch tv.

@Thommo's perm: the point about showing some nads was about taking the game by the scruff of the neck. Not letting Bale waltz through to cross for the goal. Going through him of all people to stop him playing.

Hmmmm I didnt see it so I cant argue
What I will say is we havent got an "enforcer" and the nearest we have is Lucas I suppose. Bale is a fast and skillful player. A cu'nt, but still a good player and I have seen him tear through many a defence. We havent got anyone who would snap him, but I dont think its through fear. I just dont think anyone is capable?
Maybe we should have kept Adam and only played him to kick the sh'it out of Bale?
