I think, the manager needs a kick up the behind!!, and not cash or time.

I'm sure BR is aware. The evidence suggests that it was not his fault that he was left short of strikers.

We have to deal with the next few months, simple.

I'll find it harder to read The Hustlers novice posts let alone our results.

well, he isnt exactly fault free for not bringing in a striker. he had months to do that but left it to last min, and he did loan carroll out.
now we play without a plan B.  downing looks more effective than borinin, and playing sterling every game for full 90 min is simply not the solution, as a manager u've got to look out for a 17 yrs old. johnson shuldnt play in defense for us anymore, that guy is good going forward but lapses in concentration has cost us games in his lfc career.
rogers is slowly making an out-of-job-for-2 yrs rafa looks good, and this is not a good thing.

But I'm worried that if we are in the bottom 3 by December / January the owners might pull the pin on him and send this club into a spin.

I'm sure true fans will stick with him till the end of the season and make a valid assessment but he has to try and either buy a free agent striker or demand FSG give him money in January to buy a quality forward.

We will not be in the bottom three in January, I've read some negativity on here today but Christ

Our current form is diabolically s**t, people forget that we are one Suarez injury away from being royally f**ked.

I don't think we will be bottom 3 BTW, I just think without a striker we are really going to struggle.

As per my comment above, our current form is deplorable and we really need another forward ASAP.

Believing we will be bottom 3 by January is a different matter altogether, but by all means.................

As BR has no attacking alternatives ,personal wise ,he needs to adopt a lesson from Whiskynose tactics ,commit more bodies into the box. We must have 4-5 players inside the box when we attack to enhance our chances to score.
I have no faith in Suarez and Borinni carrying the scoring load ,so lets have more player involved commited and near the goal.

i think people are panicking a little too early. it takes 6 or 7 games for the table to begin to settle down properly and reflect the true relative positions and qualities of teams. we'll be out of the bottom 3 by then for sure, but given our very difficult start we'll be no better than mid-table at this point. we've actually been playing very good football most of the time. we played man city off the park for large chunks of the game, as we did with arsenal. yesterday we had 66% of possession and 23 attempts at goal away from home.

rodgers methods are beginning to work. we keep possession well, regain possession well, and create chances. what is really biting us in the ar'se is lacking a finisher. suarez isn't it, borini isn't it and a major feck up between the manager and the ownership prevented us from getting one in. this combined with the fact that reina has decided to forget some of his basics is what is holding us back.

as long as we can avoid defeat against the mancs next week we'll maintain some confidence, and against reading, stoke and norwich we should start to put more points on the board.

There is two fatal floors in your thinking.

1. The Mancs are going to rip us apart.

2. If luis gets injured we are stuffed, granted hes not the best finisher on the planet but i dont see anyone else doing it.

Borini has been awful. I dont know why he starts when he is so bad he is subbed off 50 minutes in twice. Morgan would be a better idea.

Dont blame me mate if lfc are sub standard. Is it my fault what happens on the pitch??

Where did I say, or even hint that what happens on the pitch was your fault? What makes you think youre that important?
This proves that you are an ignorant, stupid, childish wum who hasnt got an adult argument in them and someone who takes great comfort in our current situation.

By the way whats your answer to my response to your "reality check" post?

BR had all summer, just like everyone else, to sort his squad in the transfer market. Failing that, he had to get the players he had to play as a team. We should really have taken at least 9 points from 12 with this wonderful young manager with the likes of Gerrard, Agger, Suarez, Carroll and co at his disposal. Four matches in and we have 2 points. The title is far out of reach. Fourth place is fading. We don't have the time to be f*cking around with excuses of how much time it takes, and this b*llocks talk of giving him time. Kenny had no time and was afforded little patience. We unravelled his work for a guy who shipped out Carroll (yeah, bla bla, wasn't his fault) without having a definate replacement lined up, and who has for me talked a good talk but completely failed to walk the walk. 2 points from 12. What a start to this new reign. The other clubs will laugh that our dynamic new manager came along, sold his second striker on deadline day and started the season with one striker. I'd surely laugh if I didn't feel like crying so much.

Look at the table for f***s sake. We're Liverpool and our very lowest expectations, taking all of the apparent problems on board, should be much, much higher than this.

I have no problem with Rodgers but do with the owners.

NESV dont have they money to run a club like Liverpool and
have used propoganda and fear to dupe supporters into dumbing
down expectations.

Managers need to be backed by owners and Rodgers has not been
helpded one bit by ours and the lads stuck between a rock and a hard
place now.

Liverpool are a shambles on and off the pitch and unless NESV
sharpen up their act and start showing some love we are all
passengers on the sinking ship with Henry, Werner and Ayres
at the helm.

May take years to sort out eh?     Kenny Dalglish did not get "years" did he?

I'm just annoyed that we are fast blowing our chances of being in the Champions League again next season, not being in it is tragic as far as I am concerned, whilst the Mancs go on winning title number 20,21,22,23 etc and being in the Champions league, whilst we become a laughing stock.

i don't get any pleasure from moaning, but I can assure you the longer we go on without winning games, the more fans will become disgruntled and booing from the Kop.

if we are in the bottom half of the table come Christmas, is that an acceptable standard for you!?
If thats the case then, lets all let off party poppers and start high-fiving!

The LFC managers job, comes with a certain level of expectation, "Top Four" the owners/ management have said.

the MANAGER ALONE, has let Kuyt, Maxi, Aquilani, Carroll, Spearing, Adam, etc all go, and not replaced them. That was HIS DECISION, and no one elses! So when you say Thommo "We've got what we've got", that is Rodgers own fault that the squad is light, and we are short of options up front. hence the poor start. So I blame the manger not the owners.

And I aint a WUM !!!!!!!!  :rasp

IF we are in the bottom of the table. IF IF IF IF IF

Stop being so melodramatic, we've played two of last seasons top 3, had a tricky away fixture yesterday in which I think we were the better side and a bad day at the office against West Brom. We're four league games into the season, chill the f*ck out
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

And here in lays the problem.

Bren wants time. What good is time without funds? That said he is the manager and our squad is better than WBA and we all know how that ended.

So what to do?

It is Liverpool's worst start for over 100 years i dont see why we should "chill out" at all. Massive mistakes have already been made and yet you suggest we just sit back post "ynwa" and watch it all go by?
