Crouch to fund villa move

If Crouch wants to buy a villa, he should try the Spanish coast, I've heard they offer great deals with wonderful natural landscapes.

I dont think villa is big and ugly enough to cut it in the prem.
Fernando left a scar for me.
I dont think villa going to be to happy when new promoted defenders come in hard on him.

I was gutted when liverpool signed crouch but now i find him a useful player. I thought he should have started in final in place of kuyt.
Leave him be he earns his shirt.

So let me get this straight?

Peter Crouch is all set to depart for Villa, which means Newcastle could get their man & sell Owen to Liverpool meaning Craig Bellamy will be the only person going to Villa, not Crouch? But how will Crouch buy a Villa if he's not going to Spain? What exactly are Liverpool signing? Villa or a rented villa?

Its 5:27am & im hammered

Peter Crouch has been reassured about his Liverpool future by manager Rafael Benitez.

The Spaniard has stressed the need for the beaten Champions League finalists to spend big and spend quick this summer.

But England striker Crouch, linked with a possible move to Newcastle, is adamant that he has not been earmarked for the exit door at Anfield to make room for new signings.

"He's (Benitez) told me I'm part of his plans and that's good enough for me," Crouch told Sky Sports News.

"At a club like Liverpool there's going to be competition for places, especially as the manager likes to chop and change."

Last season Crouch battled for a starting place up front with Dirk Kuyt, Craig Bellamy and Robbie Fowler.

Fowler has not been offered a new deal and Bellamy has been strongly linked with a move away from Anfield but Benitez is bound to bring in replacements so it seems likely that Crouch will face a renewed threat to his place next season.

That ends all the speculation :D

I dont see the point in getting rid of him, he is a good target player who can control the ball, have someone play off him, and SG just behind!

Yes, i agree. He's a very good player for us and he makes us different than any other teams around. He's not going anywhere!!
