If we're talking left wingers it's got to be Vicente for me  :nod

Does look a top class striker in spain but doesn`t mean he can do it in the premiership just look at nando.Rather spend money on someone we know can score in the premier like Owen or Defoe.

For what is worth, David Villa has extended his contract until 2013, with an astronomical release clause of 156M € (120M quid or so) .

That means either Valencia plans to keep the player for a long time or he's far beyond our possibilities, I think that they'd only get rid of him for a huge amount of money.

Xisco is not bad, but not quite what Liverpool needs to improve what it has, imho.

yep sabre just read this

David Villa has a signed a bumper new contract extension with Valencia.

The striker has enjoyed a superb season for the Che having joined in an £8 million-plus deal from Zaragoza last summer.

The 24-year-old has managed 16 league goals prompting a number of Europe's biggest sides to sit up and take notice.

Valencia have now moved to reward the striker and fend off any unwanted interest in the player by handing him fresh terms, despite the fact his previous contract ran until 2010.

Villa has put pen-to-paper on an extension that ties him to The Mestalla until 2013 and sees his release clause rise to a staggering €126 million (£85 million).

The striker is now very much a regular in the Spanish national side and is expected to lead the line for his country at the World Cup this summer.

If there was even a remote chance of signing him from valencia...we should go all for it. Even if he cost 20 million, we should sign him.

David Villa is a younger version of Hernan Crespo. With the number of chances we are creating each game, Villa can easily score 30 league goals for us.....

Rafa, pls pls pls...buy David Villa....

If Liverpool were to buy Villa, he needs to have a s *i*e world cup to keep his price down, otherwise i think we will be priced out of the market.
From Shankly to Brendan we follow our team, Rome to Istanbul we've all lived the dream. Our journey is long, our goal stays the same, to keep for our children the famous red name.

From what I saw earlier this guy would be a huge success in the EPL. No point in talking about him joining LFC as he would cost and arm and a leg. I would love to see it happen though and live in hope. :)
