No player , manager or John Bullsh.tter is bigger than the club and all are replaceable at the right price...thats how it has always been and will be forever

Then why doesn't Benitez Resign then!!!.....him being the manager responsible for the players he has brought in......the buck stops with the manager. :nod

If Gerrard can see that things are not right as captain and someone who supported the club as a lad and who is a born an bred scouser, is he not right to voice his concerns ?

Fair enough you never, but seeing as though this is a thread that is suggesting that there is a possible dispute between the two. And that the thread started was backing our skipper.
You then weighed in with the old no player is bigger than the club answer. Which is correct.
But neither is a manager, and if the manager is not doing what he should and the club is suffering then hopefully the skipper wouldnt be happy and might speak up.

And if it came to a question (hypothetical of course) who would you rather lose ?

The only correct part of this statement is "born and bred a scouser"

All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

hears a question

The club hire the manager, the manager is in charge of the players, who should the club back if there is a dispute with a player regardless of who that player is.

And once again ....I mentioned player and manager

the thread starter is not called John Bull by accident
