And Liverpool just made a 20mil worth of a substitution.  :D

Are you absolutely mad? Have you been watching the same game?

Liverpool are hopeless at stringing some passes together, getting any sort of good possession or creating anything.

Except for the last 15 minutes of the first half, they have hardly created anything.

Liverpool continue to just dump the ball into the other half, hoping somebody will get underneath it or get a good bounce. It is absolutely brutal. They continue to hoof the ball high into the air, creating nothing. It is nuts.

whoosh!
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

It really looks like Aquilani is hesitant to really get involved. Regardless of whether he actually has the ball or not, he never looks like he really wants it.

I'm so frustrated that the sarcasm in the original post took about 5 minutes to sink in  :p

Why did Rafa leave the subs so late?

The worst part about this whole thing is that within 30 minutes after the result, Rafa Benitez will come out and make a number of excuses for the result. I wish he would just come out and say, "Yes, we are awful." I fear that if he continues to make excuses in the media, maybe he is make excuses within the team and failing to acknowledge what the real problems are.

Other than the fact that he forgot where his head was and merely ran into the ball with his chest, yes he did almost head the ball in.

Maybe because he was satisfied with what he saw on the pitch. No other reason that i can think of.

I can't :censored: believe that it is the 85th minute already. This is absolutely atrocious.
