There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Yeah........he seems to be the next great manager in the making. Word is that manure are looking at him.

Anyway...to the match....how long are we gonna keep playing mascherano & lucas ? I thought we won the last match with gerrard back in midfield ?  ???

The team is devoid of confidence......Hope the players and coach benitez get their act together for the christmas run in..

BTW.....i will be on vacation...so this is good time to wish all of you (Antis & Pros :p) a merry christmas and a happy new year. Lets hope 2010 will be a better year for our team  :buttrock

As long as they don't win the league.........that will be awesome (giving our current form).

He has done ok at that club but with the amount of money they have he was never going to be the manager they were looking for.

It's always a pleasure to see them get done, but not this season. Couldn't give a sh*t if they went on and won the title. We're f*cked here with no viable sollution to save our bacon. The Yanks don't have a plan, and sacking Rafa without one is not a good alternative.

BTW, I think the wheels are starting to come off the Mancs now. They were laughing last week, and earlier, but they could soon find themselves in the same boat as ours

i tell what my mate has just told me, the press room is trying to work out if all the reports of Rafa getting the sack tonight are mixed up with the ones about man city, why? well he said there are loads and loads of reports that Rafa is also going to get the sack tonight but the bbc still feel there is nothing in it.

I doubt if they will take action now, if they were going to have replaced him , I think they would have done it when we got knocked out of the Champions League..

Being as close to the bottom as to the top is shocking.  That deserves the sack.

Dont be so down.

You played badly..

Our lot were totally outclassed by Fulham and by all accounts we were lucky to score nil...

I think theres alot of merit in the arguments that although both our teams have been punching above our weight for some time now, the cracks are beginning to show now.

Personally I put this simply down to the owners of the two respective clubs. At Old Trafford the Glazers have cut spending to levels beyond belief.

They even stopped free porridge and toast in the staff canteen for non essential staff, and they are making training ground staff redundant in January, if rumours are to be believed.

I think both teams are in for a very very rocky ride in the next 3-4 seasons because the debt levels at both clubs are so high neither can sustain them, nor compete with free spending opposition.

I for one certainly wont be gloating over your slide, because you are only going through what is going to happen at Old Trafford as well.
