Shankly it seems a crime to some if you post more than a certain amount on here - it seems some even want people to stop posting past a certain amount a day .

Maybe if they were out doing some good in the community, something constructive, something to perhaps improve the lives of those less fortunate.....they wouldn't have hours free to compulsively post meaningless tosh on a daily basis...

What people do in their lives is of no concern to you or have anything to do with this forum and certainly how many times people post on this forum is entirely up to themselves . If you dont like what they post then ignore it .

how about get rid of the gov't? Doesn't seem to do any good. Or at least dramatically reduce the size and scope, and start recognizing property rights. :buttrock

While I am certainly a fan of public ostracism as a form of social justice, and I too am very much against giving out benefits of any kind, I would have to vehemently oppose any sort of gov't identification system or a ban on who can and cannot have children. How could you possibly justify such a claim? Especially using such arbitrary terms as a "130 IQ" Is IQ hereditary? do people with higher IQs make better parents? Even so, how are you going to enforce such a rule? if people have below 130 IQ are you going to force a vesectimy on them? how could you possibly justify that?

what is VAT?

VAT is "Value Added Tax" Maypax. It was brought in when we joined the EEC to replace the old purchase tax.

Personal end-consumers of products and services cannot recover VAT on purchases, but businesses are able to recover VAT on the materials and services that they buy to make further supplies or services directly or indirectly sold to end-users. In this way, the total tax levied at each stage in the economic chain of supply is a constant fraction of the value added by a business to its products, and most of the cost of collecting the tax is borne by business, rather than by the state. VAT was invented because very high sales taxes and tariffs encourage cheating and smuggling. Critics point out that it disproportionately raises taxes on middle- and low-income homes.
