Im Alan Partridge Series 1 is as good as anything thats ever been done in British Comedy, its right up there, and thats not knocking Knowing Me Knowing You and the 2nd series because all them was great just the 1st series was the greatest.

Last nights episode was dreadful to say the least, didnt laugh once, and its not like these programmes cant work, look at the fast show, same sort of concept but that was just class from start to finish,

thats a good point actually....i really liked the Fast Show....and it was class from start to finish.  I mean, how many tv comedy's get Johnny Depp asking to be in it?  Nope, little Britain has run out of ideas and i can't see a series 4.

Ricky Gervais said recently that they was milking it for all its worth, and at the time it seemed harsh but after seeing this 3rd series he was spot on......and you can understand why he quit the office after 2 series and at its peak.

ricky gervais said they are milking it???

pot kettle black somes to mind.
he says he wotn sell out but i just wanna see a chat show without him on it with that fat fake laugh.
the office series one was but series two just made me cringe apart from the ending where it showed some heart.
gervais stand up is awful as was extras.

anyone who comapres rickys stuff to something like fawlty towers will have me to deal with
hes a chubster in a goatee who can be slightly funny in that way where the sae jokes are told over and over but a surrounding cast who is actually talented

I can still watch old simpsons episodes and laugh. However the last 5 years or so ( no exageration) have been rubbish, just crazy adventures. The old ones had wit, and great one liners.

"don't judge somebody from where they come from, that's what they do in Russia"

Maybe you can't make good comedy for very long - even only fools and horses went downhill when they settled down with their women, the french phrases and funny drinks got a bit tiring after a while

And in reply to whoever mentioned the drugs councellor in Little Britain, hes hilarious i love the way he asks someone to give him 20 names for a certain drug, and when they say 2 or 3 he replies,'Thats 20!'
