time to go - another loss, and at home

fu'ck it. disillusioned completely by our poor run of results

i love liverpool more than rafa

so he has to go. he is NOT getting the lads playing to beat others. not good enough at all, not at all

i dont give a sh'it if people disagree, he should be shown the door. nice man is rafa, but he cannot do anything more to improve the situation, the results show that.

7th in league and weve lost more games than stoke Fu*king city

3 wins in 15 - sh'ite

Ian st John is saying it isnt good enough, and he knows more than anyone on here

Whether the majority of fans are still with him or not (I reckon it's starting to tilt against him in terms of numbers now), it's clear to me that the players don't believe in the way they are playing at the moment. The heads go down as soon as we concede, there is no cohesion, the midfield has plenty of effort but they have no cohesion. We are all over the place at the back, we rely too heavily on a couple of players to get the goals.

There are only two solutions to the problems now as far as I see it.

1) You back him completely in terms of funds in January to bring in some quality and give everyone a lift, and give him until the end of the season to see what happens.

2) You get rid of him.

I no longer see just giving him to the end of the season as an option without any change in playing staff, the club needs a kick up the backside now or there is absolutely no chance we are making top four.

Which of the above options will cost us more financially? That's how the Yanks will be thinking.

Personally I believe the best option is for him to resign, but stubborn as he is he won't do it. I still like Benitez, I still respect what he has tried to do for us, but I've had enough now, we are going backwards.

If he left now Kenny could come in. 3 wins in 15 is not good enough. If we carry on like this we will end up in the bottom half of the table.

I always supported him, but thats enough, results speaks, the owners aren't to blame for whats happening on the pitch.

I'm guessing for option 3).
Rafa wont resign and they dont have the finances/wont use them to sack him.
Instead they sell one of our top players (read: Torres) in the summer to pay for our loans, and force rafa to resign. Then they hire a yes-man that do what they want.

The only option is that we back him and give him the money he needs in the summer, the money he needed last summer to build on what we had. We didn't and we lost a few key players and went backwards. Rafa is not the problem here. I know you all say you cannot blame the owners for everything but they dictate who Rafa can buy. Had Rafa been able to bring in Barry and whoever else im sure we would not be where we are now.

If anyone is to blame its the owners and David Moores. Rafa has made mistakes too but they hardly that big that he should be sacked.

I think your right, but it is so frustrating, depressing.

Who is questioning your loyalty to the club?

The thing is mate if Rafa left what would happen next? Kenny take over? He has been out of the game for so long he would only be a short term solution. So assuming we scrape into the top 4 come end of season then what? What top manager is going to come in and want to manage us with the owners and next to no money knowing full well he will probably have to sell before they can buy?

We will end up with a yes man manager not worthy of managing this club. Things may be bad now but they will get a lot worse if Rafa was sacked.

I am afraid he has to go. The players have totally lost their confidence and he is not the one that will regain it.

If you remember Chelsea last year with Scolari, all over the place, brought in Hidink and with the same squad totally turned it around. This is what we need, a new direction with a coach that can get the player confident and motivated again.

People keep saying this. So does that mean we'd only win two out of fifteen matches rather than three, and we'd be out of the title race after six games not ten, and we wou;dn't even beat Debrecen in Europe, and we'd be below Birmingham in the league as opposed to level with them?

Feck that, leave Rafa in charge.
