Feck me, we're missing Alonso.

i repeat again (do you have a reading problem like kewell)
we had a weak squad at the end of last season - we payed over the odds to but a right back sold a decent right back.
19million he cost.
we bort a super star from italy (not his fault) we new he would be injured for months and months.
we have 1 decent striker no back up
you want me to go on repeating what i have already wrote on this thread Greavesie. stop trying to act big by cutting and pasting a small part of what has been written by someone.

Well circumstance has played a factor in tempering my judgment. Overall though, I think Rafa's had enough of an opportunity to make sure we're not in the situation we're currently in - I expected the rot to stop much, much earlier than it has.
LFC2007 wrote:That sounds about right - by the start of 07-08 we should've been ready and in it from the off. Since then we've signed Babel, Lucas, Voronin, Dossena, Degen, Ngog and Keane which have caused us problems and which I think are in large part responsible for where we are now.
