With no money to spend, and a pair of bickering idiots like Waldorf and Statler in charge....personally, I can't see a rush of applicants...Dunno where YOU think they're gonna come from...

Managers love challanges and if Rafa went tomorrow its the sort of challange that can turn a manager into a ledgend and thats what would bring them. Its win - win for any manager who would come in if they fail blame the owners if they win something they go down heroes of world football.  :nod

I was thinking last night about martin yol what you think , I think he is little gem of a manager he built that spurs team and look how well its performing now.

right...so we'd end up with John Barnes as manager then.

Maybe at least he try to play attacking football.I take that over the dross we play atm.

Is this the same John Barnes that's just been sacked at Tranmere.

FFS use your bonce . If you want the manager sacked fair enough , but come up with a credible alterantive for gods sake .

Relax I have given some other options but really I wanna see attacking football at our club this style is not a liverpool way to play its most of time counter productive.Any ways who is to say if barnes could or couldn't be a good manager he is still learning his trade but I do take on board he isn't ready yet.But who knows in future.Read rest of posts first before taking my head off.

Tell tou what ,Ozzy Ardilles liked to play attacking football and he's available , GET OZZY IN !!!!

Yeah keep posting like its a game bud like you wanna win an arguement like its fun this is most important stage at our club for a very long time and all you can do is make jokes walk on.

Make jokes     this thread is one big feck off joke . Sack the manager ffs , i despair for this club i really do .

Trouble is, there's a thread like this every time we find ourselves in a bit of bad form, so the same garbage gets rehashed from the same and usual suspects each and every time. Oddly enough, each and every time this happens, Rafa always seems to steady the ship.

We're in no shape or form to start sacking managers, I'll tell you that much. To sack Rafa will be to lose stability.

What stability? I'm talking long term. Or form now is currently only short term. Rafa has the pulling power of attracting the kind of world class player we need. There's no house in order for any manager to come here and do a better job. You can have a pick of only a handful of managers, and all have a current job, with maybe the top two needing wads of cash to be chucked in their direction. Again, people will harp on about Rafa being poor in the transfere market, when he's anything but. Most players Rafa has brought in in that looooooong list people like to dig up are mostly young players that he got relatively cheap and then sold on to make a profit. Rafa has not had a major downturn yet on a player. Unlike that other red faced c*nt, who's bought a dozen high-profile, high-cost players that failed to do anything. There's Hargreaves over there costing 18 million and has hardly kicked a ball for them. Do I hear the press or the Mancs crying over that? As soon as Rafa is given 18 million on a player, it's "oh, he better be good or Rafa is f*cked" or God forbid, he leaves him on the bench. There's Berbatov costing 30 million, and Fergie has him sitting on the bench. 30 million pounds worth of sub. I wish we could have a 30 million quids worth sub. Imagine if Rafa did that. There'd be a sh*t storm. Imagine Rafa left a fully fit Torres on the bench? There'd be bedlam in the press, but when Fergie does it, it's a masterstroke of tactical genius? Give me a f*ckin break.

First of no because the mancs keep winning and thats all that matters in football if you at the top.Pulling power ? thats why Barry turned us down (don't use money he didn't want to be managed by Rafa it was clear) and went to citeh ? cos of Rafas top pulling power I give you spanish players find us attreactive due to rafa being able to speak spanish (of course) but really I don't see good home grown players (with common sense) bashing down the anfield gates to get in do you ? Mostly because 95% of all British players that have joined have been on the next bus home if they done well or not ?
