Well u could argue Redknapp has spent a whole heap of money at spurs.  More than he would get here.

Yeah I added some more I doubt redknapp would come as he just got winning team at spurs he be mad to leave atm.

But I did state a harry type of manager.

Also you say he spent more money then rafa but he is performing better then rafa as well and its not like rafa hasn't had a ton load of money and 4 extra years to get his team sorted.I am also sick f hearing about its not rafa faults he lost Alonso ,,, ? o really there was me thinking it was cos Rafa was trying to flog him off the season before(to get barry) and Alonso was like right feck ya then I am off to real.also says alot about how 90% of prem players think about rafa as barry also told rafa to feck off and joined city.

We dont need squad players we need top quality first team players and you might just get ONE for 40 million.

You cant rotate squad players when your first team isnt good enough.

Reg what planet are you on that every top player costs 20-40 mil are you insane ?

You live in a dream world. How do you work out this when teams like sunderland our comming and beating us I don't think all thier players cost 20+ mil.Its like you believe that if any player hasn't got price tag on there leg for 25 mil they won't do a job for us.This is problem we have fans who ain't got a bloody clue.

TPHH rafa ain't got a bloody clue in the market 76 players and only 5 of them have been good enough.Fecking joke just like that post of yours.

Although I have my criticisms of Rafa, sacking him now would be the wrong thing to do. We all know that the situation with the owners is the overriding problem at the club.

An interesting question might be this: If the ownership situation was guaranteed not to improve in say the next 3 years; the level of investment in the squad remained poor - would you still want Rafa in the job?

It's a tough question and I'm not sure to be honest.

Please tell me you are having a laugh? We were in no position this summer to buy one £40 million superstar. We needed good squad players - when we are a goal down with 25 minutes to play we needed someone who could come on and get us a goal - not Ngog or Voronin.

We need good squad players who can fill in for Mash, Stevie and Fernando. We shouldnt have to rely on Spearing and Lucas to win a midfield battle against Sunderland.

Lee Cattermole went to Sunderland for hardly anything - I think he would of been a good buy for us. Michael Owen went to United for sod all! He is happy there doing what he would of done with us - sitting on the bench getting the last 20 minutes and with Fernando being injured he would of started a fair amount of games.

We seen Portsmouth selling most of their players - you cant say Niko Krancjear wouldnt of been a punt at £2 million? That would of been another attacking option for us.

No I wouldn't want him even more so because he can't work with small budgets he never loans players why ? alot of bargin good young tallent you can get on loan ? he is most lazy manager I have ever seen in the transfer market and tbph its comming back to bite him in the ar.se now.Rafa thinks he is the man we need a hungry manager one that is willing to jump through hoops to manage us , not a yes man but a man who is willing to take some pressure of the players by holding his hand up every now and agian when things don't go right and say yeah I made a mistake.

:bowdown a fan who knows his football.

Lee Cattermole was 100% type of player we need/needed and did you see how much he wanted to show rafa why he should have bought him ? class little player.

We needed to buy the likes of Barry, Tevez, Johnson etc.. and sadly thats what 'impact' players go for these days. Even Hull tried to squeze our nuts for that centreback lad and we missed poout on him and had to buy The Greek.

Lee Cattermole be better buy then barry.Tevez is one dimensional and wouldn't put up with being a bench player like rafa would make him.You think even if we got another striker Rafa would change from 4-5-1 ?

I would even buy Kevin Nolan over barry local lad loves the club and I think is very under rated tallent and can do a job.

I personally think Benitez will be gone before the ownership issue is sorted out. If we keep slipping back the value of the club drops and the two yanks wont let that rumble on without taking action. We are teetering on the brink here and you can either stick or twist then let the cards fall as they may. There is no easy call, and no sure solution, but I would sooner take action and if that should fail at least I know we tried to fix it rather than sitting back and watching it fall apart before our eyes.

We are teetering on the brink mate I agree and it looks like Dazzer is lined up for the job.

Evans, Houllier, Rafa... all victims of the fans impatience to wait for the title.....
