The Doss is going to Juve for 6 and a half million. Just think Arby & Johnson wont want to be rotated.

£6.5m for a £7m relative flop is pretty good business, not ideal business as spending £7m on a good player to start with would have been that

If we do pay 17 million quid for him, we're out of our freakin' minds!

We didn't pay 12 million for Alves and spent the money on Pennant and Bellamy..... to pay 17 million for Johnson is a joke. Look a broad or in the academy for a back-up to Arbeloa. Pay for real quality in areas that need strengthening more than at RB.

The bottom line is this transfer window prices are ridiculously high so either we pay up or we wont sign anyone.

80 million for Ronnyvestite, 50 odd for Kaka.... Citeh's purchases.... what horrible precedents have been set.

I dont buy into this notion those big transfer will make all prices higher. Remember the teams involved has a silly amount of money to spend. Johnson is just expensive because he is an England international.

Generally though it is bad what's happened. Id laugh if Madrid win nothing next year.

i hope we dont sign him for the reported value of 17mil. thats fkin silly. i would rather see the money be spent on a left back because dossena is probably leaving and rightly so, aurelio is often injured but should be first choice, insua might not get much chances as he is young but i hope he does play more often next season.

and also i would appreciate seeing at least 3/4 of the below mentioned gone.....:

Itandge, Degen, Dossena, Lucas, Babel, Antwi, Brouwer, Voronin

ps: i dont see Pennant anywhere on our squad list on .tv

They still owe us £7 million for crouch , so in effect we will only be paying £10 million , still about £11 million to much mind you . I will seriously be gutted if we buy this fella for that amount of doe .. I'm gonna give up supporting LFC and start playing ollies again to keep meself occupied during the coming season . Glen johnson ffs .SACK RAFA he's gone bl00dy barmy.
