The thing is, is that amazingly we could have been about 8 points clear at the top, but the business end of the season is after the New Year. We'll still be in it by then. People are moaning as if we're out of it already. Un-f*cking-believable.

I want blood!!!!

:D only kidding.

Mate I just want to see us win the games we should be winning like our home games. It's no use saying ok they drew so it's not so bad.

Even United in the title winning seasons had games like these at home. Like I say, wait until the business end fires up before jumping to any conclusions. That post by jedwards above epitomizes the point I made earlier about Anfield being packed out with total whoppers. Some people seem to go to games, or only comment to do more f*cking moaning than they do supporting. You can have your gripes, sure, we all do; but when it's just blatant all out attack on team and manager, well, ye can f*ck off! Not speaking about you there, Bav, just to be clear about that.

It's just fustrating thats all Emerald and you can imagine why. Beating Chelsea away you would have though this would have been 3 in the bag. Now I look at the Hull game and wonder if that will be more of the same given how they have played away from home this season.

F*cking right it's frustrating. But people look at one mediocre result and lose sight of the bigger picture. It's just a lack of foresight from some people that's staggering. That or just a complete lack of faith in the side, in which case, why bother even calling yourself a Liverpool supporter. The boo's inside Anfield earlier were just sickening to hear.

Was just chatting to someone online and they made a good point that Utd are off to Japan for that world club thing next month. With them being shaky this season it could be enough to push them out of the run in if they have a few bad results on their return. What you think?

Villa doing ok so far 0-0 they arnt sitting back either.

Emerald I never heard the boos but that was probably my stream. Agreed though that is bad for morale and should not happen. I think they have booed before though when Rafa took of Stevie before cant remember which game.

It will take United to get struck with a few injuries in key areas to totally push them out. You can never write the b@stards off. It's going to be a close one this year. I really think that we can win the title if we just keep playing how we are. The odd draw like today shouldn't hurt us that much so long as we take points off the big guns, and let them take points off each other. We do this and we should win the title. But results like today are inevitable during the course of a season. It always seems to be those sh*t internationals that we come back from and it upsets us a little.

Everton last year? Look what happened there. Lucas came on and won the penalty.

One of the few times Lucas was good from start to finish. I think also the fact that some players were involved in international games could have contributed to today. Im sure we will be fresher for next weeks game. Honestly though international friendlies in November. Get a clue.

Beneitz got major heat for taking off mascherano instead of lucas.....  :D The fans did not like it. If lucas keeps getting picked, he will surely turn into the most hated player this season.

I also thought the game is over when he took off Riera for babel. Sure Riera didn't really have a good game...but at least he didn't give away the ball too much. He pulled away the defenders to give keane and torres some space. So Riera has to play 90 mins for evey game until we sell babel and buy someone who can play on the left.

Kuyt did well.........i am quite baffled with beneitz. Keane was sub-par and he leaves him on......Kuyt was much better than him and looked like the only player apart from torres who might score and he takes him off..... Then earlier against westbrom when keane was on a roll (and kuyt had a subpar game)...he takes of keane....   :lookaround

Anyway...apart from Babel and Lucas (and to a certain extent keane)...i think everyone did a ok job. Hope this result wakes beneitz up.....LUCAS DOES NOT EQUAL TO ALONSO....SO PLS STOP DROPPING ALONSO FOR LUCAS.

His thinking was if I play him and dont take him off he is bound to click at some point. Masch was tired from Scotland only a few days ago dont forget.

Come on Villa stop wasting your free kicks!!!

Postby Ola Mr Benitez » Sat Nov 22, 2008 7:18 pm

I was really disappointed with Babel when he came on (again).  Too many times when he should have been busting a gut to get back and show the fans and the manager what he is worth he was sauntering back thinking he has the god given right to wear the shirt.  Sell him at the end of the season and buy a proper winger for the right side, to balance the great work being done by Reira
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On
