As for keane , i think he will still come good , like BB has said he showed some nice touches , anticipation , timed his run beautifully in the first half for his first chance , difficult angle to score from . I think rafa needs to let him play his natural game , staying the box . I think he has come back too deep at times .

the problem is if the manager lets everyone play their natural game who's gonna sacrifice for the team? IMO kuyt's natural game is in and around the box as well... so who's gonna play the link up game? we don't have a player like rooney or tevez...

Wigan deserved to win that game. They were the better team by far and I was really impressed by Zaki. MoM for me.
Riera played his socks off, proving his worth again and Dirk Kuyt..good for him. Best game I've seen him play for a long, long time.
But, my god, does Agger look rusty. In fairness though, it was Reina's fault for the goal. He should never have made that pass out.
Liverpool seriously need to get a result against Chelsea next week. I don't think they're going to lose 4 games this year and they're GD is climibing away.
Joint top is still 2nd place.
That's what this place needs - a positive mental attitude...
Sorry Peter (er, I mean...Lando) but I don't believe in bullsh1t "positive mental atitudes". If something's bad, then it's bad and Liverpool were pretty bad today.
If they play like that against Chelsea, they can forget it.
A win is a win, but they need to go up a few gears.
Not a positive mental attitude or a negative mental attitude...just a real one.

Now read my post again, I say if he did it consistently then he would be ok, I am not for one second suggesting he has suddenly become a good player, just he was decent today and if he did that at least 75% of the time he would be ok. Even bramble has the odd decent game mate but it still doesnt make him a footballer. Kuyt has to do this consistently and not just pop us with a couple of goals every 28 games so let's have this dicussion in 28 games time
Thats where we differ,I see the positives Kuyt brings to LFC and has done from last Xmas. You focus on the negatives and constantly complain and overlook the good things to benefit your own obsession!
I call a spade spade, you call a spade a club from what I read anyway on most of the matches you see!
Im here to remind you when you are wrong from where I see it.Maybe im a little over critical of what you say at times but you may get used to it.....because after your totally unjust and OTT beating down of a player that i respect i feel its my right to remind you when he plays well.
Dont try filling in with, yeah he should be upfront or thats why he should never be played on the right either mate!
You repeatadly stated that he was not good enough for LFC full stop, take a look at the table and ask yourself where we would be without him!
Never a world beater,but important..bitter sweet!
haha, i think only one of us says it as it it barry and it isn't you, as for where would we be without kuyt, well probably 2 points clear if he didnt try and get in on gerrard free kick against stoke. And just maybe without him we wouldn't have needed late goals with a decent winger.
Ffs barry I praised the guy today and you are still trying to start fights, I just refer you to 3 goals in 30 games to hopefully give you a reality check

just need Keane to join in
well to be fair kuyt has 3 in his last 28 league games which is Shiite, the lad did well today, if he starts to do it consistently he will be ok, but I think as soon as torres is fit kuyt will be back on the right where he has no good impact on the game
