you must remmeber that kuyt scored the same as berbatov did in their first season in the prem .
Yeah and Berbatov followed it up doing the same again, Kuyt followed it up with 3. I'd expect to get more than that in 30 odd games at any level.
well i guess having to deal with the death of your father will sort of knock you back a bit but then he did come back in second half of the season scoring 7 goals in cl
Ya know what lad?
When my dad died, that didn't stop me being able to control a ball and pass it to a team mate.
Very sad his dad died, wouldn't wish that on anyone, but to use that an excuse for not being able to do the basics on a footy pitch is clutching at straws.

Oh and i have been to plenty of games and kicked the ball plenty of times and too a decent standard as a kid before injury , plus got coaching qualifications to FA level standard 3 .
If you had done the qualifications you'd know exactly what they entail, I'm sure you don't, its not however hard to find out.
What I will say though, is if you were qualified to a level three, you wouldn't be FA qualified...

Since when have you had to have pro licence to know about football lmao stop being a bell end Fo Dne and winding people up.
I know you don't have a clue and that is all that matters no one on this forums spouts as much clueless remarks about football then you do.
If we was in a pub together I would have the right to give you a slap for some of the

you come out with.
But there is no talking to some people as there egos far out weigh there brain size.
Can we all be wrong and you are right or maybe just maybe you are wrong (god forbid) and every one else is right ?
Odds are in our favor I think.
not tryin to defend Stu or anything but i happen to agree with most of what he says so its not simply all of you being right and him being wrong if thats what ur getting to..
We have some sht players who wouldnt be anywhere near ManUtd and Chelsea and some of you guys try to make them out to be footballing gods its rather annoying sometimes !
Babel still hasnt proved anything as far as im concerned and while id be willing to give him atleast till the end of this season to prove he's worth the 11 or 12 mill we'v paid for him i fully understand any criticism he comes under because clearly he looks like an average player at best sometimes !
im guessing ud wanna give me a smack if i was at the pub with you saying all ths sht as well eh ?

How dare you say Babel's anything other than world class...
Did you not see the cross against Liege and the miss hit shot against United?
Forget all the times he picks the ball up and runs down blind alley's or actually into someone, forget the fact he plays blind passes or plays the wrong pass, forget the fact he's lazy and a complete shitbag.
How dare you?

Just glad you are not a scout for liverpool we have to rename name the team Westham if you was.

Stu were you complaining when babel scored? I doubt so , shut the feck up and stop going on about it , our first win over united and even than stu has something to complain about and uses that to back up his point , what a patheic person you are .

Like who?
I could say the same about Ferdinand, Bullard (who Capello obviously seems to rate), Ashton etc etc.
Then theres Lampard, everyone knows how overated he is, yet he's still picked by England managers and

licked by Mourinho...
I don't really care who rates who, I know who I rate and thats final. Ferguson thinks Nani's class, I think he's a bag of

. Ferguson rates Hargreaves, I think he's nothing more than an average player who's an exceptional athelete.
I really don't get ya point lad, or lack of one.
and guess what those guys are doing then ?
winning titles and trophies all over the world
so its quite eay to see who is more qualified and a better judge of players as they got the results to prove it - what do you have ?
So them being more qualified than me makes there opinion more valid... yet me being more qualified than every member on this board doesn't make my opinions more valid?
How's that work then?

Dean Ashton is

? I don't think stu would like that

He was a good at a top club with unlimited resources , madrid where he had money and could buy stars .
Juventus where he had the back bone of a very strong team , lets see whether he can lead england to world cup semi's at least if he's such a top coach .
As for the stu part , i don't give a dam if stu like's it or not
Again you contradict yourself. Why did Rafa leave Valencia? Was it not to gain more control over tansfer targets?
Also, did you see the team he inherrited off Hector Cuper, if contained almost all of the players he used over the coming seasons. So again you contradict yourself.

Im not so sure yet about him, but I hope he proves me wrong.
Do you think it might be due to fact rafa has sucked the confidence out of him its not easy adapting to the rotation philosophy more so as a young lad.
I remember stan collymore was in and out of form all the time but remember babel is young and not all players mature as fast as ronaldo.
He will come good and with more exp , confidence , babel will come good if he don't only person to blame will be rafa for not giving him the chance IMO.
I think he will mature and gain more confidence while he grows up and gets his game, but I still have my doubt that he will become a top class player that most of us claim he will be.
I don't think rafa sucked any of his confidence, but I think he gained more confidence when he came to Liverpool, as he said it himself when he joined.
Yes when he joined but its like buying a kid some sweets putting them in his hand then telling him he can't eat them.
No point being one of worlds brightest sparks to the top club and sitting him on the bench most of time and playing him out of position.

I never said rafa was a top manager , find where i said it stu , his real coaching abilities would have been tested at a club at LFC , so far he has won the european cup , fa cup and stopped rotation so far

Or maybe the fact I'm trying to look at it from more than one side when we win prepares me for the inevitable...
The fact that I can pick faults in a win says alot. I can see were we need to improve, I can see what goes wrong and why. Then we we lose because of it I'm not suprised.
The fact is, when I bring it up it will be accused of being a knee jerk reaction.

Babel was class when he came on , we deserved that win and the only flaws in the game were in the first three minutes . SO i don;t think you can say anything about babel's performance being
poor or something like that
