Yeah and Berbatov followed it up doing the same again, Kuyt followed it up with 3. I'd expect to get more than that in 30 odd games at any level.

not tryin to defend Stu or anything but i happen to agree with most of what he says so its not simply all of you being right and him being wrong if thats what ur getting to..

We have some sht players who wouldnt be anywhere near ManUtd and Chelsea and some of you guys try to make them out to be footballing gods its rather annoying sometimes !

Babel still hasnt proved anything as far as im concerned and while id be willing to give him atleast till the end of this season to prove he's worth the 11 or 12 mill we'v paid for him i fully understand any criticism he comes under because clearly he looks like an average player at best sometimes !

Forget all the times he picks the ball up and runs down blind alley's or actually into someone, forget the fact he plays blind passes or plays the wrong pass, forget the fact he's lazy and a complete shitbag.

I could say the same about Ferdinand, Bullard (who Capello obviously seems to rate), Ashton etc etc.

Then theres Lampard, everyone knows how overated he is, yet he's still picked by England managers and licked by Mourinho...

I don't really care who rates who, I know who I rate and thats final. Ferguson thinks Nani's class, I think he's a bag of . Ferguson rates Hargreaves, I think he's nothing more than an average player who's an exceptional athelete.

so its quite eay to see who is more qualified and a better judge of players as they got the results to prove it - what do you have ?

He was a good at a top club with unlimited resources , madrid where he had money and could buy stars .

Do you think it might be due to fact rafa has sucked the confidence out of him its not easy adapting to the rotation philosophy more so as a young lad.

I remember stan collymore was in and out of form all the time but remember babel is young and not all players mature as fast as ronaldo.

He will come good and with more exp , confidence , babel will come good if he don't only person to blame will be rafa for not giving him the chance IMO.

I think he will mature and gain more confidence while he grows up and gets his game, but I still have my doubt that he will become a top class player that most of us claim he will be.

The fact that I can pick faults in a win says alot. I can see were we need to improve, I can see what goes wrong and why. Then we we lose because of it I'm not suprised.

The fact that I can pick faults in a win says alot. I can see were we need to improve, I can see what goes wrong and why. Then we we lose because of it I'm not suprised.

The fact is, when I bring it up it will be accused of being a knee jerk reaction.

Babel was class when he came on , we deserved that win and the only flaws in the game were in the first three minutes . SO i don;t think you can say anything about babel's performance being poor or something like that

Yes when he joined but its like buying a kid some sweets putting them in his hand then telling him he can't eat them.

No point being one of worlds brightest sparks to the top club and sitting him on the bench most of time and playing him out of position.
