INTER MILAN vs LIVERPOOL: CL-11/03/08 - 2nd Leg - Build up and Match Discussion

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

This is going to be one hell on a night, i can see us winning by 1-3  (1-5 ag)
I would not be shocked if it ended up 0-0  but i think there is more chance of us doing them 0-5 tonight than there being a 0-0.
We have the best manger in the world for this game, so sit back have a drink and get ready for the next round.

come on lads.

come on lads.

Well, I understand Rafa, and Xabi should be a lil bit less sensitive and be at work when his wife is about to have a baby, like many workers in the world. Come on, what can do a boyfriend there, say "push?".

Maybe I'm unsensitive because I'm not a father, but I'd like Xabi had chosen for the team.

P.S. I read in Marca too that there was some sort of fracas with Rafa, but they quote unreliable uk sources to claim this.

surely it's understandable if xabi wants to stay back because his gf's giving birth... for someone who likes xabi that's a bit harsh ...be more sensitive sabre!  :D

One thing I'm worried about is the referee.  I expect a lot of calls going against us.

Nice easy game for us tonight  I don't care what the score is or who scores just as long as we go through. The only thing that can stop us is, if the Reff is the one from the 65 semi against them ???

This is a message from a Marseille fan. Now that you have sent us out of the Champions League after your great game in December at the Velodrome, we count on you to do the same to Inter Milan. Good luck to you for tonight's game!

thanks... and I remember you back then...  :D

As far as i know he ( Alonso ) was told to stay behind by Rafa.
Right i recon they`ll come out and try and keep it tite for 15 - 20 minutes then have a go and try to take a lead into the brake, bare in mind that not conceding early will be more important to them than scoring this kind of game doesnt suit the Italians they will have to come out and play and because of this im very confident although the first goal is very important.
2 - 1 us.

Playing a counter game could be risky. How did we win 2-0 at Anfield? Attack, attack, attack. Inter are without their 2 best Central Defenders, so let's attack, attack, attack again, and with the likes of Gerrard, Babel and Lucas feeding some good balls to Torres, we should score a minimum of 1, and should therefore be fine.

I think we will score early and then wind the clock down. Were too good at the moment to allow them back into it. We will show europe tonight what our boys can do and make them all fear us. Come on the Mighty Reds. Captain Gerrard will bring them home with us in the Quarter Finals
The devil on the badge represents the equality of manchester united with satan and his many demoish minions downstairs. just like the many twisted devil worshipers accross the world it means you have to posess the same sick minded mentality to follow that pathetic excuse for a football team.
