INTER MILAN vs LIVERPOOL: CL-11/03/08 - 2nd Leg - Build up and Match Discussion

I am already a bag of nerves over this game, I will be even worse by kickoff. Rafa has to get the team, formation and tactics right for this match. I haven't a clue which team or formation I would put out tonight. I want Crouch to play but I am worried that Gerrard may get carried away and charge forward leaving us exposed at the back in a 4-4-2.

0-0 will do me fine tonight. I hope sami plays because I think they will pump balls into our box as the match goes on. There is no problem with us defending deep as the onus is on them to score and maybe we can catch them on the break or threaten enough to make them hesitant about throwing bodies forward.

Really nervous about this one and for reasons I cant explain, our recent good league form has made me more jumpy over this game.
I be happy with a 0-0 draw and I even accept  a 1-0 loss, just long as we go through

Cmon yer Reds

Come on guys!
Tonight, the Meazza stadium will be like a volcano and there is no chance for your team!
Something will happen on minute 65, remember.
Ibra, shot & goal!!!

I read in Marca about Alonso

"Mascherano is ready to play, but Xabi Alonso's girlfriend is going to have a baby and he's not here. We talked, but he hadn't a clear idea of what he wanted to do. He wanted to come if everything went right, but we cannot wait him until the last moment, we had to take a decission".

Well, I understand Rafa, and Xabi should be a lil bit less sensitive and be at work when his wife is about to have a baby, like many workers in the world. Come on, what can do a boyfriend there, say "push?".

Maybe I'm unsensitive because I'm not a father, but I'd like Xabi had chosen for the team.

P.S. I read in Marca too that there was some sort of fracas with Rafa, but they quote unreliable uk sources to claim this.

in two minds weather we will defend our 2-0 lead or go out trying to get an away goal. i Hope babel and pennant both play on the wings, with babel pennant and torred being attacking there is always a chance we can catch them on the counter attack with these 3 players speed.
Can't wait for this game now, just counting down the hours.

Got a good feeling about this one. 0-3 to Liverpool Kuyt hat trick ! Hows that for confidence !?
