Never ever have I seen so much bias on a forum.

As Al Murray said , "the reason the hundred years war lasted a hundred years was because we (the English) were enjoying it .

Anyway I had a laugh. I'm off. Good luck. You will need it. 4-0 I still say. We shall see...

Gerrard with the goal for us, couldn't give a toss about their scorer.
I still see us dropping this 4-2-3-1 formation though, I think it's more likely to be 4-1-4-1. With Kuyt down the right, Riise down the left, Gerrard and Lucas in the middle with Mascheranho just in front of the back four of Arbeloa, Carra, Hyypia and Aurellio. Torres up front on his own. Defensive minded but I couldn't care less as long as we go through.
We're off to Moscow in a couple of months time (with a Premiership title under our belt)

Appreciate the sentiment but Hyypia instead of Skrtel and Lucas alongside Mascherano worries me.

The tie would be more or less put to bed there and then and I could relax a bit more and let my nails grow a bit

Hyypia's experince would be perfect for this game. Remember his performance against Juve in Turin. Thee years on, but still I think he'd be a better option.
As for Lucas, I see us putting five across the middle, however it goes on, and with Alonso not there, I don't see whoelse would fit in with Gerrard and Mascheranho.

I think that would be worse Dundalk, the lads themselves would sit back and invite more pressure onto us. The longer it's 0-0 the better for us IMO.
I think I'm right in thinking the away goal on comes into affect after extra time? Well if it does, it'll give them 85 minutes to get the three goals back (possible as Liverpool know) and then they're flying high for those 30 mins of extra time to score just one.
No I think it's better that it stays 0-0 for as long as possible.
