INTER MILAN vs LIVERPOOL: CL-11/03/08 - 2nd Leg - Build up and Match Discussion

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

I'm not bothered by their league form, they were unbeaten since September before we beat them, in which time we'd lost three, (in the league) I believe, so league form counts for diddly

There are FOUR good teams in the prem?
1) You'll Never Walk Alone
2) pass and move is the Liverpool groove
3) FIRST WILL ALWAYS BE FIRST AND SECOND WILL ALWAYS BE NOTHING.
4) If Torres has scored 60 league goals for Liverpool by the start of the 2011/12 season, I'll say he's better than Owen.

Inter Milan picked up their first loss of the season in their league today to Napoli. Since their 2-0 loss to us they haven't won one match and have tied the two others that they have played. Looks like their loss to us really hit em for what it was worth. Hopefully they will continue this slide right into our 2nd leg fixture next week :)

Well, I don't agree.
Against Inter, Babel was not a threat.
He couldn't get passed his defender and his technique was lacking a lot.
In Holland we always called Babel a 'one trick pony'.
Because defenders could see through him quit easily.

Inter have got a defensive crisis at the moment which bodes well for us going into the second leg.

Chivu is now a major doubt aswell.
