simply because in this moment he has the worst shape among ibra, cruz, suazo and him. he his the fourth choice.
- ibra cruz is the most probable because of experience - reliability
- ibra suazo is probably the best for carrager - hyypia but suazo is not so experienced like cruz

any other combination is a fantasy book

till 2 years ago at the last 5 minutes of the match all the gates were left opened. in san siro there are ramps, very wide, like a car, to go to the second ring ... very easy  :D
you can see the ramps here

I would love to think we could do it but what worries me is our defence. When we beat Juve and Chelsea against the odss in 2005 we had an absolute rock solid defence - this time it is conceding keystone cops goals, pens, own goals as if Souness was in charge and calamity james was in goal protected by tanner and ablett!! Given our defensive approach is supposed to be Rafa's speciality it does'nt leave much room for maneouvre. I think an all out attack approach (without Kuyt) is our only option. Nightmare scenario involves starting with Kewell and Kuyt :D

I think Kewell should and will start, he offers variety that the other wingers dont have and he has quality to worry Inter.

If Maicon starts then I wouldn't want Kewell in the starting lineup, he'd completely shut him down.  He's been playing without any desire lately, plus he lost a lot of pace and can't get past a defender.  The best option would have to be Babel or even Gerrard, Pennant can play on the right.
