Hardly a surprise is it? They were never gonna rule in his favour on this. As for Fergie not wanting to sanction the move, fairplay to him. I'd expect exactly the same from Rafa is the roles were reversed.

He's a decent player but i'm not particulalr bothered whether we sign him or not. The way i see it the player won't play for the mancs again and they may struggle to shift him. Job done.

i dont think the job or damage is done. in fact if theres any damage done, its to heinze more then manure cuz they had it their way and now heinze has to stay with them and suffer for god knows how long. we didnt unsettle fergie. we simply unsettled the player.

I think its a massive blow that Heinze lost his arbitration and hope he takes it all the way to the european courts, this is totally restraint of trade, they've told the player he can go so he's effectively transfer listed, how can a club decide what club a player goes to!!!

We've matched the £6.8m and I hope to see hi in a Liverpool shirt as soon as possible, and good on you Gabby for going to all the bother you have to come to us, I'm sure it'll pay off soon enough!

It's just typical of the Premier League, if the roles were reversed they probably allow it to happen.  We've already got 3 leftbacks or at least 3 players who can play at leftback and other positions aswell.  Besides, the mancs need him if they are to get out their high position of 16th in the league.  What a buch of randoms.

Not too bothered with the decision, if I'm honest.  Sure, I think he would have improved the squad but we're not in desperate need of his services.  What will Fergie do now though if Evra gets crocked?  Probably play O'Shea or Brown at LB because he sure isn't going to give Heinze a game.  This business plus all of the machinations related to the Tevez saga may just have upset the apple cart over at Old Trafford and that's brilliant news for us and for the whole league.  Who says Rafa doesn't do mind games? :D

I'm afraid you're right maypaxvobiscum... we've indeed kinda screwed the player...

we will survive... manure will survive... but it's a big lost to Heinze...

now the only options for him is to either go elsewhere... or ifr he can, buy out his own contract mid-season and join us... otherwise I don't think rafa will still want him next season...

I'm sticking a grand on Heinze banging in an own goal when we play 'em, 0-0 after 90mins then in the 4th minute of stoppage time Heinze goes to defend a corner, drops it down onto his chest, onto his right knee, then his left knee, traps it between the ankles, flicks it up and lobs it into his own goal from 25 yards out!

GET IN!

i cant imagine the treatment the fans will give him. remember when gerrard almost joined chelsea? its gonna be worse then that cuz heinze actually pushed for a transfer unlike stevie. like u said, either buy himself out in jan or leave now for his 2nd choiced club. or should he remain, he has to be strong and endure the torment the prawn sandwich brigade unleashes on him.

:censored: this guy. It was always a long shot anyway. If he comes in the future then fine but for now forget about him. Lets hope that Kewell gets fit soon as does Aurelio. I

Not surprised at all.  Utd would not of allowed it to get so far if they didnt believe they had a strong case.
