i couldn't believe some of you people thought we could get Malouda for 8 million quid...

i said last week he will cost us at least 13 million, even though the greedy cu.nts want 17 million im told, looks like we will have to sell again for enough money for our top targets...

what really scares me is that we could lose alonso and sissoko this summer...

to even have said that in january you would have been commited to the asylum...

i really hope we sign tevez... the guy is sheer fuc.king class...

if we land eto, it will no doubt cost us alonso...

i know im ranting off the subject, i would of course love us to land Malouda but at what cost...

i just want us to get our targets... tevez/eto Malouda, simao, alves...

Rafa said a week or two ago that the spine of his team was Reina, Carragher, Gerrard & Alonso, why would he say that if he was planning to get rid of Alonso?

Personally I hope we don't sell any of our central midfielders, all four have different qualities and if I'm right we'll play a 5 man midfield a lkot more next season, so they will all be needed. However I'd bet my left testicle that we won't sell Alonso AND Sissoko this summer.

Nobody really knows how much Malouda is going to cost, all we are doing is speculating as to how much we THINK he will cost.

We may get him for £8m, we get him for £13m, we may not even get him! We are just speculating!

I'd prefer Frank Ribery 10,000 times than Florent Malouda. I think he's a far better winger, but usually playing on the right flank.

He's apparently leaving Marseille for Bayern this summer and is the same price than Malouda (15-17m£). Plus, he's 3 years younger than Malouda. Excellent pace, good technical ability, class winger IMO!

If a frenchie had to come, should be him...

I dont think Ribery is going to Bayern. If so he better be prepared for a huge backlash from the L'OM fans. Ribery has always said he wants CL football. Marseille are in the CL and Ribery has said "why not stay and play CL football with Marseille, or play CL elsewhere". If he does leave I think the side must be in the CL.

Ribery is also linked to the Gunners... and there he could play CL football...
Was also linked with Lyon, but doesn't seem to stay elsewhere than Marseille, if he stays in France.

He just said this moring on the french football show "Telefoot", that he doesn't know where he will be next season.

I've never been entirely convinced about Ribery, maybe it's because I haven't seen enough of him, he's a cracking player, but I just question whether he could make the step up.

Amazing to see what you think of Malouda and french players...
"Very quicky", to answer about some french players :

- Cheyrou has never been described as the next Zidane.
In Lille, he was quite a good young player. But he was a brand new unknown player, performed well one year, and went to Liverpool.

- Cisse : is a good player. Still in French squad, but like Govou, we do not always know why...He can run quick and shoot strong but has no technical skill...Speciality : loose ball... Nearly no football IQ.
Could be very good once he has fully recovered from injuries...But it is a run and shoot kind of player...

- Ribery : very good technic, great speed, and overall outstandong acceleration (kidney)...But no football IQ... Got to see an interview of him...Oops...

- Nasry : He is the next Zidane...Outstanding...But you'll never get him before years...

- Malouda : to be honest, I'm not sure he's the best player in France...Really not sure...But he can be very very good...
His world cup was not good (except the finals where he was very good) because he had health issues.
The guy is a freaking beast.
The first part of the season was really outstanding.
He played way too much this season, just after the wolrd cup, and this is why he was not that good around january till march...
But when he is in shape, the guy can tore up any defense...(let'say nearly)...
Very athletic, very good technics, even if he's not as flashy as others, very efficient anyway.
He discovered this year he could shoot (and what a shoot...) and score goals...
His weakess would be lack of precision with centers, and sometines to slack it... and go to often in the midle...But his right foot isnot exactly his best...
He can do it all, attack and defend...
But we will not let him go under 20M€...At least...
He still has contract years, and Lyon is not exactly in great need for money...

For that player, all that glitter is gold...
Last year, he said he wanted to stay, then that he wanted to leave, then that he wanted to come to Lyon, then that he wanted to go anywhere where he could play CL, then that he would love to stay in Marseille...

Are u a Lyon fan? Where do u think u need to improve? I thought u signing Baros was very strange. His not good enough for Lyon and I feel they need a top top striker to complement the rest of the side. I think if Malouda leaves it would allow Ben Arfa to play more. He really needs to start playing more football!! His got lots of ability and needs a run of games in the side.

What do u feel about Perrin getting the job?
