Read a book about Barca a while ago - they have my upmost repect.

Their Chairman was executed in the hills outside Madrid during the Civil War.

Sorry Lando can't agree completely there, except with Reina.

- Puyol would walk into our side, but Hyypia and Carra as a pair are as strong as Puyol/Marquez, so you're right to an extent.

- Alonso is better than Xavi yes, but Xavi has had shocking injury problems. Deco though? Very debatable, Xabi's passing range is marginalyl better, but Deco is more of a goal theat and definitely more creative - hard to choose between the two.

- Gerrard is world class but so is Ronny, they are quite different player as well to be fair.

Barcelona doesn't have better players in all positions as Larsson said, but their sqaud is certainly stronger than ours, but hell we know that already and it doesn't mean we can't beat them! It will be a monumental effort if we do as they are easily the best side in Europe on their day.

barcelona have better footballers than us but i still think we can be more than a match for them over two legs. i'm just worried about the first leg out there. on such a big pitch and with our general lack of pace in the side, i just hope we're not out of the tie after that game.

xavi, deco and iniesta are all sublime footballers but they're all lightweight. when chelsea played them at the bridge they just overpowered them in the centre of the park with the extra physical presence of ballack, essien and makelele. if we have sissoko back, we'll certainly be more than a match for them in the midfield area.
