He's still a relatively young player and can improve in all areas. It's a no-brainer really as he will be kept. If Kuyt was to pick up an injury we would all be pretty glad we had Peter Crouch.

After latest CL game Johan Cruyff mentioned on the Dutch television that Peter Crouch was one of the most underestimated strikers. Indeed still a young player with a lot of potention. I'd say : stay :nod

Crouch won't be going anywhere.  Still a quality player who will be heavily relied upon in periods this season.

Taken from Sky Sports:

Rafa Benitez has warned interested parties that he has no intention of letting Peter Crouch leave Liverpool in January.

Crouch was a key performer for The Reds last term, with his efforts in front of goal cementing him a regular spot for England, but he has found it tough to make an impression at Anfield this season.

Although an advocate of the rotation system, Benitez has allowed Dirk Kuyt and Craig Bellamy to form a solid partnership and a number of clubs have been alerted to Crouch's plight on Merseyside.

Benitez is aware that a number of clubs are keeping tabs on Crouch, but the Spanish tactician feels they are wasting their time.

"I'm happy with the strikers I have here," said Benitez. "We don't want to sell Peter.

"We are not even thinking about it. We are in four competitions and I want to keep my strikers. I'm happy with Peter."

Benitez has told Crouch that he will soon get the chance to prove his class in front of goal.

"When we played with Kuyt and Crouch we were winning five games in a row and people were saying the understanding between them is good," added Benitez.

"Now it's being said about Bellamy and Kuyt. But Robbie Fowler is also a clever player.

"All four are good and they must be ready because we have four games in a few days."

Crouch was never supposed to be first choice really. The only reason he played as many games as he did last season because all of our other strikers were rubbish really.

He contributed to a lot of what we achieved last season and Rafa put faith in him when many didn't. He's played a decent amount of games and he will have to accept that there are better strikers than him.

He's still an important part of the team and he'll play a lot more games as the games are piling up thick and fast. I wouldn't be surprised if he takes Kuyt's place against Blackburn as Dirk has been a bit poor in the past two games.

There's no denying Crouch gives 100% when on the field but for me as a striker he hasn't got the essential qualities..pace, power, clinical finisher (2 goals in 17 league appearances to date).

I would like Rafa to sign two more strikers, because crouch is never gonna be a goal machine as hard as he tries and sadly fowler is way past his best....Hang onto crouch for now until we can bring in a few more quality strikers.

Crouch is a spaz.

He would never grace any title-winning LFC.

He is okay but if we want to win the Premiership he isn't good enough. Get rid in the summer and bring in someone good such as David Villa or Dean Ashton.
