bad bob...i cant remember any italian serieA top goalscorer joining the english league in who knows how long (shevchenko to chelsea next season)!
but...let me ask you this....
Would you rather have Kuyt or Trezeguet in that liverpool shirt next season ? dont mention what rafa wants...i wanna know what you want ?! same goes for you lando and goat and anyone elsea reading this thread......
seriouslly...i want to know which of the two the liverpool fans want ! bcuz its getting kind of frustrating trying to tell everyone that trezeguet would be the safer bet off the two...and everyone seems to disagree!

to be honest I am swaying more to Kuyt

ok he spent half the world cup falling about like a drunken monk but he looks like a hard worker and he seems to be fairly stable off the field

I am just guessing but Trezeguet looks like a bit of a playboy to me and he looks a bit sullen

would not be a good idea to have him and Bellamy upfront

Dyer & Bowyer anyone ????

Too be fair too Kuyt, he isn’t the first striker to resort to diving when playing upfront on his own and being seriously isolated from the rest of team against 3 defenders.

How is this relevant?  If you just want him in the shirt, go play Championship Manager!  You're talking fantasy football with this kind of question.  But, this isn't fantasy football, this is the real world and in the real world we have only a certain amount of money to spend on only a limited pool of available strikers.  Trezeguet for 13million pounds is simply not worth it for me...end of.

(But, as long as it's just fantasy then my answer is neither of the above.  In fantasy land I'd love to bin our entire existing strike force (besides Robbie of course :buttrock) and sign Hernan Crespo, David Villa and Miroslav Klose instead.  Now these guys p!ss all over Trezeguet!)

hehe...no fantasy....trezeguet is 13 mill....kuyt is at least 10 mill....u trying to convince me that rafa wouldnt pay an extra three mill for a player of trezeguet's ability -wages aside- ?!
plus....trezeguet is available on loan now that juventus are back in serieA in a year....why not try to get him on loan with a first option of say...15 mill....if he shines...which statistically speaking seems more than possible....we pay 15 mill and he's all worth it...
One more thing....how do you BadBob and all you other guys out there say that trezeguet isnt a top-class striker ?! i mean...i was just watching a Milan.vs.Juventus game from last season serieA... Trezeguet and DelPiero upfront....man did they run the milan defense (Nesta and Kaladze) ragged ! and im a milan fan in italy ! i hate juventus...cant tell u how glad i am they got relegated to SerieB...anyways....his link up play is good...his eye to goal is great...he doesnt complicate stuff...short simple passes upfront...takes a shot at goal every now and then and is of such a huge impact ! Besides a handfull of names i cant think of other forwards in the world better than trezeguet is ! (none of which play in liverpool....def. none of which is a Dirk Kuyt we'v been linked to).. i dont know....i might be a little too excited about trezeguet...butttt.. with all the other big clubs now increasingly interested in trezeguet...our chances of signing him are looking slimmer by the day !

trezeguet is too expensive for us and Juve have said nobody else is leaving.  What more does trezeguet have to do to prove his top class.  His record speaks for itself!!!
