The same could be said for Gonzalez, Aurelio, Alonso, Reina, Luis Garcia, Crouch, Agger, Paletta, Sissoko and virtually every other signing Rafa has made.

You just need to have a little faith.

yup....must give rafa that much...but...."treze of kuyt" seems so obvious...yet we'r still linked to kuyt rather than trezeguet....and dont get me wrong...said it in another post....kuyt is good and would probably do the job..i mean...he has a good scoring record and seems a clinical finisher. But trezeguet is proven in the italian league and is a great finisher and is only 28...he's available and would be the ideal signing for liverpool -seemingly-....im not a doubter of kuyt's...definetely not one of rafa's...but kuyt over trezeguet just doesnt sound right for me ! but well-said however lando !

But again - Veron was one of the best midfielders in the World in Italy, and he turned to sh*t in England,.

Morientes - one of the top players of his generation, and he couldn't hack the Premiership either.

Van Horseface - signed from Dutch league and became a massive hit for the Scum.

You can never say "If he's good in Italy, he'll be good in the Prem." It's just b*llocks mate.

Oh dear, so we're going to snap up ronaldo or raul now... It keeps getting worse. Im not a huge fan of kuyt but if we do sign him ill be hoping he can be a success, remember all you people are judging him on one game from the world cup. He could either be the next kezman or the next van nistelrooy(both prolific in the dutch league)

veron wasnt bad in the prem....he just couldnt adopt...he played great with argentina and great in the argentine league....he is a quality and was definetely worth the gamble for both manutd and chelsea! trezeguet is a striker and he scores for a living...and he seems to be really good at it....and since you cant tell for certain that either would make an impact in the EPL...my guess is...u'd try to find which of the two is more likely to hit it big in the english league...historywize and given the repected leagues they play in..i'd take trezeguet over kuyt ! and i cant see why anyone wouldnt ! if you have a striker in the italian league with a scoring record better than that of a striker in the dutch league....the odds are...the striker in the italian league is better than the one in the dutch...if not far better given the difference in the quality of the two leagues ! .. just common sense ! and another thing....trezeguet is far more established and experienced than is kuyt...doesnt that count for some adaptability points ?!

Why dont you split your writing into sentences and paragraphs? It makes it annoying to read doing it the way you are.

Veron was worth the gamble of 30mil for man u and 15mil for chelsea? Doubt they are thinking that now. I also would rather we got trezeguet than kuyt but unfortunately it looks like we wont be getting trezeguet now so kuyt will have to do, if we even get him.

Okay, mate, let's do an exercise.  Name as many strikers as you can who were top performers in Serie A and who have moved to the Premiership and done the business (as you think DT would).  Then do the same thing with the Dutch Eridvisie (or whatever it's called!  :D ) and the Prem.  Then we can talk about which league is likely to provide strikers who will adapt well to the Premiership.
