LIVERPOOL VS BOLTON - A tough game

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Postby red37 » Sat Apr 08, 2006 9:09 am

tough game... no one can confirm if bookings made on the 9th are set to zero or count towards those already accumulated?

either way sissoko must play for me. its akin to askin a dog to chew his bone politely and for him not to be a bit pi55ed off when you take it away.....

if he gets yellered then so be it. but you cant ask a player to stop playing his own game, particularly when its been instrumental to the teams profit.

one thing... the bolton players will be well up for a bit of momo baiting if he plays and that may be their downfall, while they concentrate on him... the lads can benefit from their lack of concentration.

i think we'll squeak a result though  :;):

Really worried about that shower injuring some of our players, within the first 20 mins against Brum they lost two midfielders through tackles from the pretending to be footballers challengers. God I hate Bolton with a passion.

Bolton manager Sam Allardyce has his strongest squad available for four months ahead of Sunday's Premiership clash against Liverpool at Anfield, reports Ireland-on-line.

Ivan Campo and Matt Jansen return to the squad after playing for the reserves in midweek as part of their recovery from broken foot and knee injuries respectively.

Ricardo Gardner and Gary Speed have also recovered from viruses which have kept them on the sidelines recently.

Team (from): Jaaskelainen, O’Brien, Hunt, Jaidi, Ben Haim, N'Gotty, Gardner, Giannakopoulos, Faye, Okocha, Speed, Nolan, Davies, Vaz Te, Diouf, Pedersen, Walker, Nakata, Borgetti, Campo, Jansen.

I'd like to see Fowler and Cisse start up front . Give Crouch a bit of a rest on the bench .

.                             Reina

. Finnan        Carragher     Hyppia      Riise

. Gerrard       Sissoko        Alonso       Kewell

.                               Fowler
                  Cisse

I reckon it's made for Fowler, as tomorrow is his 31st Birthday.

wouldn't mind seeing cisse start out on the right, he had one of his best games in a red shirt in that position against west brom last week. i'd also like to see fowler start, bolton have some wiley old feckers who'll be up to every trick in the book tomorrow so someone like fowler who's been there, seen it and robbed the t-shirt can out-fox them.

it's a good time to be playing them actually, their form has dipped big time whilst we've been playing well and scoring for fun. bring it on!
