I wonder how is it possible LFC fans to quarrel and fight with each other... I wonder... guys, please, the cause is only one and it is LFC on the top, what's there to argue and quarrel about.
Regarding Michael - if you are further interested, I can post Bulgarian online media so that you can see yourself the media interest and coverage about this case. It would be hard for me to translate it all, as I am in the office and I don't have the possibility to sit and translate the whole day...
To tell you the truth, this case has wide and ubiased media coverage in Bulgaria...
However, if you are interested in media materials, you are welcome.
2. I will support LFC and there is no other alternative for me, although CSKA is a Bulgarian team... I will be at the stadium in Sofia and I just want to meet English fans so that we can together support our favourite team...
3. I don't have my own favourite LFC player, because, the way I see it, football is a team game and I love the whole team. Anyone, who is on the field and is wearing the red shirt, deserves respect... In CSKA there is no a significant big star player, although Hristo Yanev is supposed to be the team star.
4. Unfortunately, I don't have the possibility to make a trip to UK due to financial reasons. However, a lot of CSKA supporters will do, as many as Levski supporters did. That is why I will not miss the opportunity to watch LFC in Sofia... Even if I am the only one at the statium, I will support LFC...
5. In Bulgaria, I support the most beloved Bulgarian team Levski - it is Bulgarian people's team, the freedom spirit team, a team, which is created not because of the Communist party, but because of the football and the love of it.. So you can imagine the greatest feeling, when both of my favourite teams met... It's like dreams come true... I have also a scarf from the game between them...
If you are more interested in Levski's history, you are welcome...
So far, that's all from me, I will be glad to communicate with you and to welcome any of you at Sofia Airport.
P.S. If you have questions about Sofia, currency, bars, stadiums, etc., you are once again welcome
P.P.S. Last but not least, how do the English media and any of you feel about the other victim (except for Michael Shields) - the inguried bartender, if it is of any interest to you, I can post you pictures of what he looks like now .... recently he and his wife got a baby....

dont worry mate. LIVERPOOLANYTIME  can start a fight in an empty house.

thanks for coming back

Just out of curiosity, is Berbatov in Leverkusen the most famous player in Bulgaria?

Anytime you pass by Sofia, give me a call. I don’t visit Levski games when it comes to Bulgarian championship, because it’s ugly football over here...But I go to euro matches, which I believe to be the real truth...
Sometimes I go to Levski – CSKA derby but being at the stadium since the 80’s, I got sick of this derby – recently, the football players mostly kikc each other instead of kicking the ball.
I prefer staying home watching English Premiership, Primera Division, The Italian Kalchio, The German Leage instead of getting angry at the Bulgarian stadiums.
Berbatov (once a CSKA player) and Georgi Ivanov (once a Levski player) are the most popular and famous players in Bulgaria and idols of the fans here.
The most beloved Bulgarian football player ever is Georgi Asparuhov – Gundi, who scored a fabulous goal at Wembley in 1966 (England – Bulgaria 1:1). Unfortunately, he died in a car accident.

i am wondering if there has been any press coverage out there and what are the feelings about a guy going to jail for something he didnt do

For what it's worth, I also found peewee's post aggressive and out of order, and our friend from Bulgaria did not deserve such a first reply to his very friendly introduction.  Perhaps it was just an unfortunate choice of words.

or perhaps you are also a mind reader or chose to read it agressivley. the problem with the written word is that sometimes you can read something two ways, you chose the wrong way. this can be seen by my welcome to the forum immediatley after my post. i was genuinely interested to see what the feelings were in bulgaria.

I am sorry, but at the risk of prolonging the argument and boring everyone else, I cannot let that pass.
I am not a mind reader, and your first post in reply to our Bulgarian friend cannot be read in two ways.
You welcomed him by saying, "I have a question, why is there a Liverpool supporter in jail for a crime he did not commit?  I am wondering if there's been any press coverage out there and what are the feelings about a guy going to jail for something he didn't do".
Do you honestly consider this a reasonable post to a friendly Bulgarian Liverpool supporter on his first visit to our forum?
If you really had to mention the "crime", you would have done better to express your regret at the horrific injuries suffered by that poor Bulgarian at the hands of "someone apparently from the Merseyside area".
In reality, you should not have mentioned it at all and confined yourself to your second post.
All rightminded people are outraged if an innocent person is convicted and imprisoned but your comments are directed at the wrong person.
That is my final contribution to this thread.

it can be read two ways, and you have read it the wrong way, thats a fact. i took the chance to ask a bulgairian what he thought of the situation.

at no point was i abusive to him, and at no point have i been abusive to him.

abuse would have been to tell him to f@ck off and tell him he not welcome here because of his countries poor legal system.

also the use of the words 'i am wondering' shows that i have a genuine interest in whats happening there and what the feelings are.

now i dont have to explain myself to you, i dont even know who you are, but i can assure you that you read the post wrong. i have already had this discussion with LIVERPOOLANYTIME, maybe you are an angry person who reads every post with an angry head, but i suggest that you start to look at the possibility that you are reading something wrong. without the benefits of listening to enunciation it is difficult sometimes to see how the wtitten word is intended

end of discussion

Ticket prices were announced yesterday. For Bulgarians the prices are as follows:
A Stand - BGN 40, Euro 20
B Stand - BGN 15, Euro 7,5 (this is where I think the English supporters will be and where I am planning to get a ticket for)
C Stand - BGN 20, Euro 10
D Stand - BGN 10, Euro 5 (this is where the CSKA supporters will be)

Stadiums in Bulgaria have 4 stands - A is the central one, B and D are side ones, and C is right across A. B Stand is the place for Levski supporters and is similar to Kop.
These prices are extremely high for the standard here and there is a lot of discontent among supporters. Anyway, I can forsee that all stands at the stadium will be full.

Please, stop this ridiculous dicussion about the way I was welcomed at the forum. I am not a narrow-minded person and I don't take it as a personal insult or disrespect.
I just try to make it clear how things proceeded here and I can prove it in case of necessity. Sometimes I get angry because the injured guy wasn't paid enough attention, and he has a really bad unjury...
However, this is not a final judgement and a new sitting of the court is expected to take place...
So, whoever makes a trip to Bulgaria - I request the pleasure of your company at a beer before the game. I am looking forward to your confirmation.

at last a voice of reason, i did post in another thread that everyone seems to be forgetting that a guy got serious injuries, its a valid point you make but we would all love to see the actual person that did it in prison rather than a scapegoat.

unfortunaltley some people on here just like to find fault and pick arguments where they dont exist
