carragher has improved a 100% since his days when he couldnt even pass the ball up the field without launching it halfway up the centenary. carragher has developed into a tidy player, mopping up the scraps that the main centre half fights for. he`s excellent as a foil to sami but take away the commanding centre half and carragher looks half the player.
a good defence complements each other and they defend as a unit, not as individuals.
you reckon he`s slow but he wouldnt be far behind john terry in a sprint, who for a young lad is alarmingly slow, and everyones raving about him.
