Well here we go again, funny enough listening to talksport quite a few pundits are tipping us to finish second behind Arsenal, they fancy as the season progresses and Iraola gets more and more time to get his idea's over he'll start getting a tune out of our squad, might prove to be a bit late for a title challenge by the time he does get us going but they were citing lots of examples were Iraola basically worked miracles with threadbare squads and his best players being sold beneath his feet etc
They seem to think he's the real deal like Jurgen everywhere he goes he improves whats aleady there. As they said we've got a great squad but we are massively punching below our weight, Wirtz and Isak should be ripping this league a new one, if Andi can get our better players playing well and as a unit then the sky's the limit really because Wirtz, Dom, Isak etc are quality.
I think we are improving by the week, they havent got Howe any more i think we'll win this one.

Hoping for a good start but our success this season in general IMO boils down to how well Isak and Wirtz do, those two must show why we paid so much for them and I hope they start showing that from the start.

Yeah you do get the sense that if we are to have a good season they both need to have good seasons too.

I think last year it was a bad vibe with the death of Jota and the painful transfer if an injured Isak and even Salah in the team and those two certainly underperformed to their level and will have a point to prove this season. I’d predict they will both have a stellar season as they are both quality and quality will always show.

I think we could easily win our first 5 matches which will get the players believing in the system.
