Bad day at the office....they're a good team and this is the only tough game in the group.  I can take it.

Our forward has been poor though and we've made them look a LOT better than they are.

Twice now we got sucker punched by Napoli...silver lining being it's a good omen?

VAR has cost us the game unfortunately. We were fully on top at that point and that pen decision took the wind out of us. We've just got frustrated and the mistake from VVD is a result of that.

Unfortunately the referee have just beaten Liverpool

We just got unlucky in the end - that VAR decision, or lack of, was a complete joke and came at a time when we looked well on top. A draw would have been a fairer result. Oh well - we put up more of a fight than last year's fixture at least. We'll t***t them at anfield.

Can't blame any of our boys for tonight, it was a tough and physical away match and a draw would have been a good result, however the ref made a mistake (that VAR didn't bother to correct) that decided the match and that's that.

Thought it was 50/50 and we deserved a point. Tired legs in the end cost us imo. It was a poor challenge from Robbo to concede the Pen and then he could have cleared it from Van Dijks mistake only for he hesitated.

Thought the ref had an alright game but should have consulted Var for the penalty. It was interfering with every decision at the start of the season and now its the complete opposite. Should be scrapped altogether if you ask me.

Front 3 not on their game tonight..Not focused at all..We really need someone from the MF to contribute to the attacking game either by scoring or assists today's MF cant so it..

Rare error by VVD and Robbo pen was soft to say the least..

Will wanna take a closer look at the game later...was kinda distracted during the game but it will be interesting to see the movement of the Napoli team today, especially how they are able to run between the space of our CB and wing back.

While Matip and Fabinho had a solid game, our attack was kinda lacklustre other than a couple of good chance that we should have put away. The pen was a joke no way was that a penalty when Robbo took the ball clean. That was my takeaway but need to rewatch this to understand the tactical formation employed by Anchelotti
