We must be careful that we dont start picking and choosing which trophy is worth winning because it sets a dangerous precedent and confuses our already dim players. They should be striving to improve the team and the club by winning every game we are involved in, not just chosen matches.
Which brings me to the early stages of the EL or pre-season friendlies. Does anyone see a difference, really? Before you "inform" me BTB, that one is a cup competition with a trophy at the end and the other is meaningless, just ponder this. They are BOTH used to blood young players and get older players match fitness and have the same stature of team to play against. One is long, boring and hard work, while the other is short, exciting and easy, but brings in more audience and potentially new supporters for LFC and therefore more money (allegedly)
In these modern times we have seen the "old" values and reputation of LFC tested to breaking point. We are in a different era from the glory days and we need to think about this and adapt accordingly.

The point is, we're not even in Europe as it stands and BR has stated he'd prefer it that way as he'd rather the team qualified for it on merit. Nothing wrong with that IMO.

Everton more to think about in nullifying our attack ,and the introduction of Skrtel late on gave Johnson and in particular Enrique the
impetus to push forward..... Whisper it quietly ,but I think he's learning.

I agree ,but he showed the stones to tinker with the formation enough to push the Bitterz on the back foot.
