You can be as optimistic as you like but you will look f'ing ridiculous when we lose crucial games.
I'd prefer if we kept our heads down & stopped talking about goals we simply can't achieve yet!

i havent seen one poster say fourth place is in the bag or anything remotely like that, all people are saying is that we have an outside chance, which is true.

They were all terminated. Now we have BR as manager who will most likely finish mid table or somewhere above mid table at best and I am 100% certain he will not receive the same treatment as those 3 former managers. This shows how low Liverpool have sunk, those 3 were fired because they couldn't win the league, now we have a manager who will finish mid table and will still be kept.

To make comparisons to Souness, Evans and Houlier is pointless. We are moving in the right direction and if we don't make top 4 this season I am confident we will next. With regard to Rafa, he's not exactly setting Chelsea on fire is he. his last two appointments haven't exactly been successful and since Kenny's second tenure I am pretty reluctant to support any further second comings. I don't believe we will be struggling to finish 7th by the end of BR's contract but if we are i doubt he would still be here.
