We've been playing nice football and dominating most matches. But lets face it, we're practically fielding a team of kids these days and we can't expect too much from them too soon.
The ball is in the owners court at the moment. They're either gonna back BR with funds over the next 2 windows or else we'll have to wait a few seasons for the squad to mature.
Changing manager again won't achieve anything.
i actually think changing manager would achieve something if that manager was rafael benitez but rodgers deserves more of a chance to put his stamp on the team than one half @rsed transfer window in which the owners kept their hands tightly on the purse strings.
to be fair to him rodgers isnt able to field a side of his own signings and until he can do that it`s probably a bit unfair to judge him.
saying that i dont think he`s made the most of the resources at his disposal, if benitez was given the job in the summer i dont think we would have seen the farce we saw at the end of the transfer window so we wouldnt have a striker crisis, we wouldnt be 2 points off 4th to bottom and i dont think we would have conceded nearly 30 goals by early november either.
i think benitez could have done a lot with a strike force of suarez, carroll and and £10m million to spend on another forward, not to mention another £15m to spend on a centre mid (although to be fair to rodgers i think allen is a cracking player)
Big Rafa fan myself but I just can't see us taking him back. Was definitely a disaster to sack him when we did.
