No one can predict what will happen.

More to the point is, how long should a Liverpool manager get to prove himself, bearing in mind the expectation in the job

You are completely full of Sh*t. 400 posts since august and not a single one of them worth reading or contributing anything constructive to the forum or club. Take a hint and develop your thoughts better before blurting.

He justifies his existence to wind us up, he isn't even subtle. I always wonder how people like this would present themselves in person, I suspect a 'yes' man.

Hey guys if you want to respond to the troll, no worries but please don't quote him.

For those of us making use of the very easy to use ignore poster function on this forum its kind of defeating the purpose :D

looking forward in seeing suso play again. as i said, we rarely gets a player who can pass and dribble at the same time. i believe we havent seen the best of suso's ability (based on some Utube videos) on the ball yet. he been playing more conservative this few games.

sterling on the other hand plays without fear, take on players without fear. but some of his decision making needs to improve. he has a nice crossing ability too and speed. we havent got a fast winger for 2 decades now! and that is nice to see.

and then andre wisdom, i got a good feeling about him, he may turn out to be someone special.
i always complain that we havent got a academy graduate during and after era of rafa, and now we have a handful thanks to rogers giving the kids a chance.

And a big well done to Rafa and the Academy staff for bringing them in. There should still be a role for him at the club.

So your all saying lets wrap Brendan in cotton wool, and dont like to hear any negative comments or criticism.

Being negative is part of the debate. None of you can honestly say he will be a success. How can you be so sure?

Remember its a results business. And I will judge him on results and league position ONLY, and not style of play or tactics.

I would rather we play cr*p every game and win 1-0, than play well and not win

Some of you havent got a clue.

And you choose to dislike me, cause I am critical.

So how much time do you think BR should have as a Liverpool Manager?

Depends on results. At least end of the season. If we are 8th position or worse, he should go.

Roy Hodgson and Kenny didn't get very long, why is BR any different?

His tactic/ plan, is to flood the first team full of inexperienced youngsters. That is risky.

Kenny had nearly 2 years and several times the budget that Brendan has had.

To say Rodgers has achieved nothing at LFC is a bit harsh I think.  It depends what you class as an achievement of course.

He has massively slashed the wage bill, got us playing more attractive football and by giving youngsters a chance in the first team we have the youngest average age in the league now at 23 years.  Of course results are what matters ultimately in football and we are 14th in the league with one win in 6 league games, so I can understand why some aren't impressed yet, similarly with his outspoken stylein the media, I can see how some might not take to that either.

I think when you look at the bigger picture though there are signs that the club is moving in the right direction.  Under Benitez towards the end, then Hodgson and even under Kenny last season there was always a sense, to me anyway, that we were moving backwards instead of forwards.  I look at our senior players like Skrtel, Agger, Lucas and Suarez signing long term deals and the impact of the youngsters like Sterling, Shelvey and to a lesser extent Suso coming through and there is reason to be optimistic.  I think Allen and Sahin are real quality players too.

I'm as frustrated by anyone by our lack of killer instinct at times and our defensive inconsistency, but I think we're going in the right direction.  We still lack a bit of quality in certain areas but I think under Rodgers we will get there.  Can he win the league?  You'd have to say probably not.  We can't compete financially with some of our rivals.  But regular CL qualification and the odd trophy is achievable in the next few seasons (which is essentially where we were under Rafa).

How old are you? Your posts show so much oversimplified thinking that you cannot be above 13 years old...

Oversimplified thinking??   Explain boy! I'm in my 30's for your info, prob a lot older than you.

To me it's black and white, Kenny got the boot despite winning the Carling cup, and getting to the FA cup final.
Did we see Mr Henry show compassion for KK and keep faith in him, despite a bit of success!?? Erm...Nope!
Why would they not do they same for someone like Rodgers, who is far less experienced!? baffles me.

The difference between me and a lot of other posters is I keep my posts short and to the point. A lot of posters in here waffle on in their long boring posts, desperate to be heard, and dont really pay any attention to other peoples posts. Thats why they keep repeating themselves over and over, making the same points time and again.

At least my posts are interesting!  :eyebrow  :buttrock

Kenny was in charge from January 2011 to May 2012 which is sixteen months not even a year and a half.

Brendan started with 3 youth players, Sterling, Wisdom and Suso in the starting line up.

It cost us today.
