I'll have us finishing above Everton Newcastle and Spurs
If Evertons first 5 had been WBA Away Man City Home Arsenal Home Sunderland Away Man utd Home. how many points do you think they would have ?

Everton beat the mancs first game of the season as well as beating teams like Swansea away.

We dont have a chance to finsh above them

You need to look at the league table, Spurs have 8 points to our 2 points and have scored 8 goals to our 4 goals. They're in a much stronger position than we are - we're on par with QPR and Reading at the moment.

Yet they have managed to get wins and points under their belt.

West Brom are a good team and I would love it if someone of their stature managed to get into the Champions League.

nah not for me, they are both average players.
after the debacle at the end of the transfer window the owners said that they would spend big in january if they had to, i want to see carroll come back and the owners put their hands in their pockets and bring in a top striker in january. f**k this moneyball malarky if we have to bring in a 30 something for a couple of seasons like huntelaar then lets do it.
a club of our stature should have 3 or 4 top forwards.

We can't afford players like Huntelaar !

I would take either Ba or Odeiwingie - both would massively increase our goal scoring threat

I'd take Ba for 7 million
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing
'Bout the glory, round the Fields of Anfield Road

ba or odeinwinge arent the type of players that are going to take us to another level, i`d rather just have carroll back and give yesil and ngoo a chance than buy stop gaps like either of those 2.
the owners should bring in top strikers or dont bother at all.

We couldn't afford an extra 2 mil to get Dempsey for £6-7mil let alone the £15-20 mil required for Huntelaar FFs ?! Did you sleep through the transfer window
