Does he get it right this time, or will we fail to get three points and it be five without a win + be in the bottom three!
I do wonder.
I do wish he would not talk so much about "long term objectives, long term plans, building for the future" etc etc, as it drives me nuts.

You are obviously a fan of the "here and now" and have very little, if any patience.
We know what you will say if we lose then

Trust me, he wont get 3-5 years, if results dont go well.
I dont know how some of you have so much confidence and belief in the manager, as he is totally unproven.
We could be in the championship.next season.

look at the good young players kenny brought to the club in the late 80`s (fowler, redknapp, mcmanaman etc) with the future in mind and look how houllier spent millions developing the facilities up at kirkby, and lets not forget that rafa brought in 2 coaches from the barcelona set up and signed the likes of sterling and suso.
rodgers seems to have a knack of reinventing the wheel and selling it to the fans as something new and dynamic, it`s like this passing philosophy of his, you`d swear we spent the last 50 years hoofing the ball the way some fans go on.
rodgers isnt the only liverpool manager over the past 50 years that believes in passing football and wants to build for the future.

To me, Rodgers is trying to establish some stability based on the philosophy which made us world beaters. We havent had that for years with each manager since KK left trying to stamp their own individual style on our club. All have had some sort of success (except Hodgson) but none have gone back to the basic mantra of LFC: pass and move. Keep it simple and dont give the ball to the opposition. I have faith in Rodgers, more out of necessity than choice, but I think he "gets us" and whatever happens this season, we have to stick with him or face years in the wilderness.
