The point I am trying to make and most fans would agree is enough of this fairy floss feel good PR stuff (we heard it at the start of the season and THAT IS enough) now its time to roll up the sleaves and get stuck in.

I could not agree more, but I can understand why he has spent a lot of time doing PR. Its not that long ago we had the walking PR disaster known as the owl, and BR is a very inexperienced manager for the job at a club like liverpool.

The PR side is important these days.  Hodgson was a dead man walking after just a few weeks because of his poor PR.
As soon as he was critical of the protests I was already losing interest.

just an idea. With us struggling so much in the striking department how about bringing someone in like a fowler just as a confidence boost. Harry redknapp has loads of help and why he gets alot of success. What are your thoughts.

We have had 4 league games. Let's calm down a bit eh

It's been a very tiring and emotional week for the club.

To me the biggest mistake he made was right at the beginning. Why the hell would u say u would not be against Carroll going out on loan. Now look at us he can blame the owners for not backing him i dont care to me he brought it on himself.

we look very lightweight up front to me, for all the talk of philosophies and systems we ended up throwing percentage balls into the box to a five foot seven CF and we hit a lot of long balls from back to front too.
there is no way that we are going to pass through teams a la barcelona week in week out

if anything i think the events of the past week should of made them even more determined to put on a performance.
everytime they go onto the pitch they are playing for and represent the best football club on the face of this planet

Fair point mate. This weeks events have been a drain for us all.

I just don't want us to get relagated this season, that's all.

We have 2 points, we need 40 to beat the drop.  :p

Brendan said post match....

I've analysed the performance and I thought it was outstanding. I thought our creativity and movement was good, and we had a real good tempo and rhythm to our game.

I didn't see much of that watching on TV !??

Then what match were you watching? We were all over them but wasted our chances, whereas they had one and scored.
Are you actually a Liverpool supporter?

Yes I am a Liverpool supporter, but not one that wants us to be fighting in the bottom half of the table.
As far as I recall, Liverpool FC was all about WINNING.

The managers we have had since Rafa, have taken us downwards, breaking all kinds of silly records (worst runs in the league since 1921 etc).

I don't want to see us end up on the scrapheap.

get a reality check. :lookaround

We dominated possession but we didnt create many clear chances. They were happy to sit back and let us keep the ball for most of the match.

i was just going to say the same thing, we didnt create many clear cut chances, even the goal was more a case of slack defending than great attacking.
we look like a paper tiger at the moment and have done in 7 of the 8 games we`ve played so far this season.
the one game where we looked creative and full of idea`s was against belarussian minnow`s, even against hearts we huffed and puffed.
our lack of attacking threat (and of course lack of goals) is certainly a concern especially considering our limited options up top.
