Will he be demanding the sack if he doesn't get 4th spot as well ?

"hello, is that Newcastle football club?
Yes, i'm calling to say that you've not spent 500 million and therefore are not allowed to get into the top 4"

They aren't in the top 4 .
If they end up in the top four instead of us Chelsea and Arsenal then I will come back on here and state how right you were .

Newcastle are there on merit
The same way they wont be there come the end of the season because they wont deserve to be

but that goes against your MUST SPEND 500 million logic to get into the top 4....how much must you spend to get into the top 5? 400 million? top 6? 300 million?
I hope someone tells Stoke and Norwich

Your doing a very good of avoiding the points, I will applaud you on that fact.
You also seem very capable of missing the point and twisting things to the point you are embaressing yourself .

if you say so lady...
Your crazy logic that you need to spend 100s of million for sucess is b0ll0cks. Otherwise Newcastle, Norwich and Stoke wouldn't be anywhere near the top 10.
It's down to good mangement and a sensible transfer policy...

the wearing tshirts was a bad move, everyone accepts that, hindsight is 20/20, at the time it was awesome, but it was the wonrg move to make
in regards to the T-shirt thing...we should have done NOTHING...SAID NOTHING...played it all out behind closed doors. Instead we made complete tw@ts of ourselves and portrayed our club in the worst possible light.
and why benny bangs on about City, i've no idea. We're NOT CITY...and if you waste 100 million on sh!te it hurts us badly because we've not got the funds to speed that money again. That's why we're struggling this season and that's why we are persisting with the likes of Carroll, Henderon and Downing.

I think a lot of the teeshirt wearing situation was about supporting Suarez so if/when the likes of City and Chelski come knocking, we can say "Hey, remember that time...?"
There's also a belief in football that if we can unite our team against the world, it will instill a team ethic. In the whole Suarez-Evra situation, it was certainly backs to the wall stuff. It was nice to see such unity. If we were getting the results, we could say that tactic had worked.
7_Kewell wrote:benny, your logic is flawed and you know it. You DONT need to spend 500 million to get 4th...otherwise you'd need to spend 400 million for 5th...300 million for 6, and so on.
Again, please tell me why Newcastle are doing well when they've not spent anywhere near the money you suggest is necessary?
