Rawk is awful, yet so many believe it's the best place for info. Too many Facebook types on there. Twitter nonsense and the like.

They have got virtually nothing right on there lately. Only a few good posters. Stevie injured for beginning of season? Not such a biggy like a couple of seasons back. I'd love him fit, but we have options.

Rawk is a joke at the best of times....and even worse so with Gerrard's injury.

Lots of posts starting with "my mate at a hospital said..."

The rumour is gathering pace now, Quite a few people have told me the same thing. I'm not concerned though it will only be a rumour started by the bitters about him yet again.......

Probably because Everton have no transfer news so let's see what can we do,  I know let's make another rumour about Gerrard again.

I highly doubt .TV would have video up of Stevie playing golf if their was true concern about him being very far away from being fit.   If it is as bad as the rumors say, I have a hard time believing he would be allowed to play golf at all (even more so with a swing as awful as the one he has :P )

I won't celebrate Rafa going........ but I will be over the moon if Dalglish comes in. League within 2 years if he gets the job, AND YOU CAN QUOTE ME ON THAT.

Well.... not to sound like people on RAWK, but I have heard from some fairly reliable sources back home, that supersub may be on to something. Apparently Stevie is not in good nick and there are differing opinions coming in from the medical professionals consulted. With opinions ranging from "he should be fine" to the other extreme that this may be permanent and he'll never get back to anything close to his best and perhaps that this could be the end of the road for the lad.

If true, I'll be devastated as I feel that he's only second to Kenny in the list of best players to have ever worn the red of Liverpool.

Maybe this is why we seem to be collecting central midfielders like their going out of fashion? I really hope not and god only knows the truth of the situation, but I am extremely worried.
Fingers crossed....

When I heard what the SS said, then I saw the signings in midfield, it did make me wonder. :(

Supersub shared that rumour with us before Gerrard came out and said he felt better than ever after his op.  Cant see why Gerrard would say that if he was finished.

Id say the reason for signing a couple of CM's is to provide cover for Stevie if he does indeed do his groin in again.

Fingers crossed he gets fit again and has a couple of years left in him.

I know Bam..... same for me.

I just hope that all this is just rubbish scare mongering.... But I do know the guys back home and they're not the sort to feck around like this.

Hopefully they just got the wrong end of the stick or the news they got is a worst case scenario.
