i agree about what he has done for himself there is no doubt he has grafted and worked hard.
Hass his personal trainer taught him how to pass forwards though ?
Or just maybe he has been given a bit of encouragement and freedom to do that this season  :;):

I remember Alonso saying something about Rafa after he left wanting to control almost everything about what the players did on the pitch. Maybe he was always instructed to give it simple ?

Its funny how some can totally disregard a players improvement might have a tiny bit to do with the manager.

oh you know what i mean Ben about passing,  :;):  Nah im honestly delighted for the lad, he must be made up with Poulson coming here , the pressure that has been took off him you can honestly see it in his face  , an i loved Javier with all my heart but you can see the difference in Lucas playing without him along side him, maybe it is Meireles along side him i dunno. but as i said im made up for the lad, and his inclusion in the Brazil squad , Dunga has certainly noticed him

His latest interview takes the cake. The man is clearly suffering from some kind of senile dementia.

its bizarre how some people just plain refuse to give lucas the tiniest bit of credit for anything - even when he's sometimes the most committed player in the shirt. the same way people refuse to give hodgson the tiniest bit of credit for anything - even when he has done things right. others such as torres, however, are allowed all the excuses under the sun for sulking their way around the pitch like a spoilt brat.

Wind your neck in, Andy. I have been saying Lucas was 1 of our best players last season as well as this.

Nice to see your 'ability' to edit out the relevant parts of a post to allow you to gloat is still shining through...

Sorry, fella, it's not me that's embarrassing myself. Hodgson is doing that all on his own. He's a shambles.

wind your own neck in. i was using one of the points you made to illustrate a view that many seem share with you, and a general inability many seem to have to give credit where it is due.

and if you're seeing that as gloating then i think your a little bit oversensitive.

It has absolutely nothing to do with the job he's doing. You can criticise without the abuse and the persistent ridicule. And I daren't mention the hypocrisy.

What the f*ck are you even talking about? It's everything to do with the job he's doing. He mentions in the press that he practically can't do any better because "It's not my team". Then goes on to talk more bollox about how he's doing a fine job and how he has the team on par with United in the form table? Last time I checked, we were 11th in form, and United were top. Then he speaks about the recent loss against Newcastle as not acceptable for a fop half side? Right, so now we're just a top half side, are we? That's his ambitions? The more he talks like this, the more he'll p*ss off the support. Count me in as one of those that's p*ssed off. I don't want to hear the manager of Liverpool FC blatently lie, then try to deflect the blame of his failures onto his team like a f*cking cowerd. His remarks are defeatist. He deserves all the abuse he gets.
