the people that are the most critical (or havent given him a chance from the start) are the ones that still want Rafa here.

And who defended Rafa against the abuse and ridicule that ensued following his "facts" rant - from those who charged that he was "cracking up" under the pressure, analogous to having a "nervous breakdown", or having a neurological disorder - indeed, exactly the kind of abuse they now employ to attack Roy. How would you describe such people?  ???

i was never one of those mate, i thought that was stupid an OTT

You're doing it again. People b*tch about bringing Rafa into the arguments, and it's exactly what you're doing. Thing is, there may have been a reason why people defended Benitez, and that reason is because maybe he defended us, or at least had the bollox to? We now have a cowerd in charge of us, who shares a nice glass of vino with his best mate (oh, guess who) after games, takes the absolute p*ss out of the fanbase by thinking we're absolute clueless muppets, lies about sh*t in the press then gets called out for it, attacks managers for no apparant reason other than being linked to his job (Riijkaard), blames his players when he f*cks up. Constantly brags about his 35 years of experience and his LMA award. He thinks he's invincible by recently stating he doesn't think his job is under threat, even though the owner clearly says that recent results are unnaceptable I'm sure there's plenty more. This man is taking the absolute p*ss out of us, he's turning us into an absolute farce, yet you want people to bite their tongues and back him up on all his bullsh*t?

surely the circumstances of the two managers mean they should be judged independantly of each other?
All round the fields of Anfield Road
Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and could he play!)
Stevie Heighway on the wing
We had dreams and songs to sing

No, criticism is fine by me, but the personal abuse and ridicule (such as your suggestion that Roy is senile) that you and people like you resort to is a total disgrace.

It has nothing to do with the respective jobs they did. Any manager of LFC deserves a minimum level of respect, regardless of the job they do on the pitch. To say that Roy "deserves all the abuse he gets" is a fecking disgrace. To say he "deserves all the criticism he gets" is completely different.

Jesus this place. Haven't been on for a while but we're still on with the same old sh_it. One lot goading the rest until they say something a bit ott like "Roy deserves all the abuse he gets" and it's off to the moral high ground about respecting the fu_cking waste of space manager.

HODGSON = FAILED APPOINTMENT THE SOONER HE GOES THE BETTER

RESPECT OR NOT RESPECT HE WILL STILL BE A MUPPET

4th wasn't good enough for Rafa, but you laud it as the Holy Grail for Roy? Your mind is seriously messed up, mate. Stay off the hash. :no

Couldn't agree more, no need for the abuse - like it or not he's the current manager of our club and for that reason alone deserves a modicum of respect.
