Didnt think Johnson did much wrong and was dangerous going forward .

he needs to run more in his attacking play. He did that twice today, and from those we got a free kick and penalty

I think he hasn't because his confidence has been absolutely shot all season long, hopefully this can wake him up a bit.

I'll agree with that, did really well forward, had a half decent chance in the first half, skinned some defenders, got us freekicks in dangerous positions and  got us a penalty, done well.

He was utter $hit ,let's not celebrate the penalty ,he is England RB for god sake and he playes terrible. Couldn't pass the ball hardly supported attack defended like Koncheski. Player that gives his hair more attention then to his performance.

If you look at Lavazzi's goal, it was Johnson that should have followed his run. Instead he went for the ball when whoever it was could have covered it.

He was the only person who could have tracked Lavazzi, and he didn't...

What is his role to be exact? If its an attacking player hes failing. If its a defending player hes failing. If its both hes failing double.
The ONE good thing he did was getting the pen.
Come on Glen pull your socks up or fu'ck off

If we'd picked Johnson up for a couple of million no one would be complaining.

The facts are that he's a decent right back who is very good coming forward.  But we massively overpaid for him and he's not international class, England just don't have great options there at present.

He co.cked up tonight for their goal mind, but he's bound to be rusty after a lengthy lay off.

Disagree
He plays out of his skin for england. Looks awesome.
Maybe he should wear an england shirt underneath his top...?

Maybe we should have better players around him that don't expose him so often?

He can be a very exciting player when surging forward. Something that hasn't been apparent since the days of Riise (did I say that?).
His defensive frailties during these bouts of self-adulation do expose his defensive frailties though!!

No, I think our CBs for the most part are average at best.
