If he can play well and consistently for once I'll be happy.  Otherwise... I'm not too happy.

Babel not going anywhere.  Why Carlton Cole?  His goal record is about as bad as Heskey's.  How does that help us?  Pacheco is the guy we have to start giving games to, and yes, even Babel upfront.  This year is about building a solid, talented TEAM.  We aren't going to win the title.  Turan would be an excellent addition though.  With Raul and Cole, that would be three really top class players added to the team.

Dom Raynor:
You may have thought the Ryan Babel saga was over, but not according to The Metro. Apparently, Robbie Keane is set for to join West Ham on loan to allow Babel to join Spurs.

Babel is obviously staying because he is typing out stuff on twitter right now :D

Unless he is doing it on his iPhone whilst the West Ham medical staff put a thermometer up his bum

the babelcopter was genius on roy's part. it's all part of his training regime, see? roy sticks him in a helicopter on the pretence of flying him over to white hart lane for a sale. what he's actually doing is giving him a good aerial view of most of the grounds in the country, allowing him to take notes and work out exactly where the goal is and where the space is that he's allowed to run into. i wouldn't be surprised if the babelcopter was even equipped with a camera and some kind of guardian chalkboards thingyummy. brilliant.

Well Rafa certainly didn't help! Who know he may just prove a better gamble than bringing in somebody like Carlton Cole.

Haha   :D

The babelcopter was spotted dangerously flying like a headless chicken towards White Hart Lane when it should of been going to Upton Park, Babel himself realised this and blamed Rafa Benitez.
