I still think Babel would have been good for us playing just off Torres... he'll be a good player, always said it, and im sticking by that. just wont work in our set up due to Stevie

Why do clubs leave it so late in the transfer window? Sky Sports are saying time could run out for Carlton Cole to be signed. Couldn't this have been finalised before today? I don't get it.

Just read on the live blog from Soccernet that West ham had turned down our offer for C. Cole. So, Babel will be going to Spurs and it seems we are still looking for a back up striker. Hope Woy can pull something out of the hat like Turan
